Do you mean the series or the first game in the series? The first game is still playable, even if it had a shitty save function and a bit of a difficulty spike somewhere in the middle of the 2nd island but it wasn't anything completely unfair imo. The 2nd and 3rd game were much more improved imo especially being able to slide jump

No it's just aesthetic AFAIK. I think maybe in gen 2 it was tied to stats but I'm not sure.

My first one ever was as a kid in the OG Silver. Caught a shiny Delibrd and it threw me off guard. I thought because it sparkled the way it did that meant it was stronger, and I toiled for the longest time to make it a member of my party but after a while I just learned that Delibird just fucking sucks

I've also had a shiny Zubat in Crystal, shiny Wingull in X, shiny Ekans in X too.

How do you restore a human life though? And if he's robbing people odds are he doesn't have much money to give. I generally don't think jail/prison should be for nonviolent crimes like shoplifting, drug crimes, etc but for abusers and killers that are a threat to harm others left to their own devices I don't really know what the alternative should be for them.

I hope so man, I'll try the best I can. I always told myself I'd be a better father than my own dad, who ditched my mom when he got her pregnant. As I've grown older I realize how young 18 is to have a kid, especially when it's just a college girlfriend you've been dating less than a year, so me and my dad are more cool now but I still think he ultimately did my mom dirty. But he's genuinely done a good job being a parent to my siblings on his side and I love them all. All I can do now is be the best dad I can to my own kid.

He's starting to be able to hold his own head up now more often and it's so cute

He's generally been surprisingly good at sleeping through the night. At this point he goes to sleep around 10 or so and wakes up around 4 to eat and then sleeps again until 7 or 8. Been generally uninterrupted but he crapped his diaper something fierce tonight hence the waking and crying lol. I was in my teenage years when my mom had my youngest 2 brothers so I remember how they were as babies, and comparatively me and my wife definitely got really lucky because so far he's been very low maintenance and we get to get a decent amount of sleep ourselves. Dunno what we did to deserve him honestly.

You know what you're getting into when you decide to have a child so I don't want to seem like I'm whining, but it will never not suck to have you and your wife's sex romp get interrupted by a crying baby lol. We just started being able to go at it again earlier this week but he's been fine this whole week and it's the first time we've been interrupted so far. Knew it had to happen sooner or later.

The soup nazi episode kind of triggered me because jambalaya isn't a soup.

Yes plz. NYC rooftops were awesome, I'd always lays a remote in the pool and wait for someone to come down lol. Was even better once you learned the button combos to jump, shoot ice, and shoot backwards. You could then enter the pool area from the "ground floor" (quotes because everything is still up on skyscrapers) and jump through the window where the lockers were. I'd lay a remote in the pool and also in the pool. I believe the locker room had a remote that respawned periodically so I was always stocked lol

Then there were the secret passages in Paris, Hong Kong had the subway and the inside area where you could ride around the 2nd floor and Dark Tooth could never use the teleporter to get you, but he still had his ranged bombs.

The controls are a little weird going back to it now but a remastered 2 with updated controls and graphics would be the tits.

I remember liking it a lot as a kid but I watched a couple of episodes a few years ago just revisiting some childhood shows, and doing that kind of ruined my nostalgia for it. Doug is kind of a bitch tbh.

Damn man. I've had 7 surgeries on my ears in my life. 8 total surgeries if you count tonsil removal. But 3 of those ear surgeries were in my "later years" as in I was in school. Once in 1st grade, once in 7th grade, once in college. And honestly I can't remember any of them feeling very bad afterward. I gave my grandma my lortab script when I was in college because I didn't need it but I got it for free lol. I always did have a very high pain tolerance though

There are a lot of things we survived without before. Like cars, phones, planes, and air conditioning to name a few. There are some cons with the internet, particularly focusing on social media, but the internet itself has way more pros than cons overall.

Planning on using a traditional controller, maybe with gyro enabled.

The Wii controls were amazing for the trilogy. I haven't played it with a traditional controller in a long time but I do remember you had to hold a button to freely aim around which might be a little clunky if you got used to the Wii controls lol. At least most of the stuff you could lock on so you could strafe around.

The OG Metroid just felt really slow and a lot of the screens look the same and there was no map so it was hard to remember where you were. Was just way too jarring after I had just played through Zero Mission. I'm sure it was amazing at the time of release but it's just really dated now imo.

1 and 2 were amazing. 3 was meh.

I still need to play some of the older ones, I've only played Zero Mission. Tried playing the OG Metroid which was unlocked after beating Zero Mission but the OG just hasn't aged well at all lol. I know Super Metroid is a lot of people's favorites

The HTML guides were a huge upgrade imo. Not just because it's easier to navigate but the writers can put actual photos and screenshots in and not have to rely on those ASCII arts like the old style guides. Especially useful for maps and sections that can kind of be confusing or obscure in writing.
