I played like 30 minutes of FFX and did not think that was a typo. If you don't think a kid would say that you haven't been around kids.

For me it just feels boring and superficial. Like the best case scenario of your Sims gameplay is watching your peeps go to work and shit and shower.

In the episode Lisa tries to save a beached whale but it dies. And then people blow up the whale with dynamite and its flesh rains down all the over town.

I found it totally revolting. I'm aware it's a spoof of a real historical event where a town blew up a whale carcass stuck on the beach, but I still hated it (I was kinda young, like 10 or so). Just because it was researched didn't make it funny. I liked Lisa Goes Gaga more than this episode

If it is, it's actually mediocre performance by ChatGPT because it is literally responding with the copypasta that's always posted with the image, except screwing up the last two words (probably because of a censor in the output).

Basically there's no reasoning or novel output here, it just outputted the paragraph associated with this image thanks to /tv/.

We talked about that in class. "The Godfather Saga". Was when tv miniseries were really popular. Pretty bad idea since it annihilates the thematic cohesion of the second movie.

Nahhhh, the flashbacks are all about contrasting Vito's experience of the American dream, pre industrial capitalism, and ascension to power through community-- with Michael's spiritual fall, corporate capitalism, and destruction of his community.

The scene of the statue of liberty coming into view is iconic and almost singlehandedly lays down the themes of the movie (the American dream, assimilation, legitimacy) without speaking a word. The festival in Little Italy is one of the best set pieces in the franchise.

The fact that Part II is both a prequel and a sequel that creates its message through the intertextuality of its two stories is part of why its so damn impressive.

A lot of times when movies are lauded as the greatest ever, I end up slightly underwhelmed, especially when they're half a century old.
