This moment? Content, I suppose. The rush from my promotion last month wore off a bit, but I've got a convention coming up next weekend. I'm always apprehensive before a con. I always feel like I need to plan for them so much but at the end of the day it's just hanging out with like-minded people.

I'm stressed about the holidays. The usual plan is my parents and I go down to my sisters' place in South Carolina, but I don't want to book anything because she was talking this year about coming up to where we are, but hasn't confirmed one way or another and it's... y'know... November.

Chances are we might just do the usual thing, and that's fine for my parents, because they just drive down and stay an entire week, but I can't do that with my work schedule; I usually fly and just stay a few days. If I don't get word soon I'll either have to get a flight real quick real expensive, or I might just stay up here alone for the holidays, which I'm not really looking forward to.
