It's a show about rising up against the systemic fascism we've become used to from the perspectives of multiple different people involved and is absolutely masterful at getting every aspect right.

Not only is it fantastically entertaining, it's also extremely poignant right now.

I'd like to thank them for giving me a space battle, even if it was a little one.

Personally I think stoicism is overrated.

Video games that fill me with hype.

Comedy that makes me giggle like a dummy.

Arguments that fill me with fury.

Music that inspires me to hope.

And sometimes finding time to just let it all out and have a good cry into my pillow.

EDIT: Heck, just a couple of days ago I was in Atlanta and went to the Center for Civil and Human Rights. I just let the exhibits there wash over me and my emotions were going nuts, but I felt I needed it.

I think it's okay to be a guy and look pretty. Lotta guys do that.

An amazing throwback to the old days of survival horror and a mere twenty clams.

I am glad you feel okay enough to share with us. My only metric is my sister and her kids are almost teenagers, so I haven't heard about this from other people in a while.

It's a damn crime that we didn't get that substory back in the PS3 days. Instead we got the Michiru substories (which have been removed for the Remaster).

That reminds of a time I saw a tweet lamenting about the state of the game industry how it's no longer just dudes programming in their garage like it was in the 80s and how everything is corporate culture.

My response to that is that there were companies totally buying into corporate culture of the day. I referenced Sierra On-Line and how Ken Williams ran a company that went to bars and had hot tub parties. They might have started out programming in their basements, but they wanted that corporate culture lifestyle just like anyone else looking to make it big.

Then it got awkward when the real Ken Williams responded to my tweet basically telling me how "it was a different time" kinda defending that culture and I didn't really want to get into it with a guy who searches his name on Twitter (because I certainly didn't @ him) so I let it go, but that's the closest I ever got to the Williams'.

Cigarettes are weird with ratings boards. If you someone smoking in an animated feature it's an automatic R rating.

Might have something to do with changing the title art of Y3 Remaster to not have Kiryu smoking.

Yeah Church's was straight mid. The one nearby was also largely out of stuff.

I seem to recall every sexual encounter in the GoW games are optional, and while player initiated, there's no evidence to suggest they aren't consensual.
