Once you learn the basics, you can usually get by Easy and Medium. Hard is just luck unless you're pretty skilled, which I'm not lol

Its just that this stuff about like the order of the winds, and having to memorise these wind and bamboo cards seems a bit overwhelming.

Here's a super easy strat just to get you by and teach you the fundamental

Basically the hand you're usually aiming for is 4 "runs" and a pair. A "run" is either 3 of a kind or a sequence (aka 1-2-3, 5-6-7, etc.). You usually want to avoid the face tiles, which are the 4 wind tiles and the 3 dragon tiles.

You do NOT want to steal (aka perform a "Chi" or a "Pon" when the game prompts you) because that deducts points from your hand and sometimes makes it impossible to win that hand, even if you get 4 runs and a pair.

The only exception would be a "Ron", which is when you win while you're in Riichi by stealing another tile.

Riichi is an option you take when you're 1 tile away from a winning hand. When that happens, you usually click Square or something and the game auto-draws until either you draw the winning tile (called "Tsumo"), someone discards a tile you can steal to win (called "Ron") or the game is over. Most of the time you want to go into Riichi mode when you can.

That's basically it. Try to pay attention to what people discard. Like if you're aiming for 3 of a kind of the 5 bamboo and you see 2 of them discarded, that means there's only 2 available left and that would be impossible (because there's only 4 of each tile in the whole deck)

Obviously there's way more indepth stuff like prevailing wind and Hans and special hands like 7 pairs, but the strat I covered is just your easy bread and butter and will help you ease into it. You can look up all that other complicated stuff once you get comfortable with the flow of the game.

Compare this to the mainline games where he's a foreveralone incel and makes Mega Man. Eventually that leads him to create X and the world goes to complete and utter shit for the next 300ish years with the X series, and the Zero series, and eventually the Legends series.

My wife uses it to get up-to-the-minute updates when there's power outages, flash flood warnings, fires, and other pertinent information during emergencies or natural disasters. You can't find that information anywhere else.

There's plenty of other sites that do that too. Twitter aint the end all be all.

People should be checking the actual state/city run .gov sites for information regarding their local area instead of some literal twitter page
