Did they change the hitboxes on Impact Crater in one of the last couple updates? For a while in Sunbreak I kept accidentally hitting sleeping monsters on the way up and wasting the sleep bonus damage, but then suddenly it got easier again. I mean, now I'm still having the problem of the monster immediately flinching and missing out on the second hit, but that part's normal lol.

I'd argue that Tidus wasn't the main character in 10 either, it was Yuna. Tidus was just the audience surrogate so the rest of the party had an excuse to explain to the player about Yevon, summoners, and the world in general.

Idk, he seems kinda central to the plot as well, if only for his connection to Jecht and getting the party to question Yevon. And also what he is is also a big plot point.

Can't say I've tried it, and honestly don't care to associate with anyone who has.

I had a dream the other night they pushed back TU5 to be 6, and the new TU5 just added Dracovish from Pokemon. Fought similarly to Raging Brachydios but with long range options, and was widely regarded as the most difficult hunt in the series. It was a hoot

Now I want that to be real just because of how stupid that would be. It's a waste of a pokemon representative, it's a waste of the only Nintendo representation in the game, it's crazy fucking hard for no reason. Literally everyone would hate it and that would be hilarious but also beautiful in the way it brings everyone together.

LMAO. I think mine was a great Maccao as the Gen demo was my first dip into the series. Going from that to I think Nargacuga back when I had no idea what I was doing with CB was fun.

Lol Gen was the only MH I played before World, so I don't really have much right to play the veteran elitist anyway. I guess I also faced a lagombi in a demo for...3U maybe? But I couldn't even get a hint of a grasp of the controls and gave up because MH demos are god awful for introducing you to the series.

Just listened to Team Skull and Plumeria's battle themes and they're both better than Guzma's. It's the same deal as Team Star. The leaders get the less interesting songs.

It is a shame that Disney villains got such a downgrade in the rest of the games. Maleficent is still scurrying about, but she's practically just comic relief compared to Xehanort and Xehanort and Xehanort and...

He was okay. Iirc he had a small team but it was still a scary one. His battle music is boring. I loved his team full of idiots though. They were great.

Team Star was weird and not all that interesting, but the Star grunt battle theme is rad. It's criminal that it only plays for like seven fights in the game and each one consists of one pokemon, so you're likely to never hear the whole thing.

Cuz dinosaurs were badass enough to finish their business while they were still alive.

I haven't reached the max AR level for like two or three title updates now. The grind is so slow. And repetitive since you'll just keep unlocking investigations with the same eight or so monsters unless you wanna dip down to lower levels and earn fewer research points while you level up a different group of monsters. Maybe it's a me problem and I just burned myself out too soon killing time with the base game's expeditions and then base Sunbreak.

If you haven't tried Curse of the Sea Rats, I'd recommend it. It's fun and challenging, and also has hand drawn sprites.
Haven't gotten far into it, but I'm having a good time with it.

Oh yeah, I saw that trailer. It didn't really captivate me for some reason though. It might be the 3d environments not meshing super well. The character graphics and attack animations do look cool though. Also the characters seem fun.

I started that Tails of Iron game from PS Plus like a week ago, too. It's also pretty visually with hand drawn graphics, but the characters are just straight up real rats in clothes, so they're not super interesting or expressive.

I remember it had some rad music. Also that it was very hard. The sections with the lines that flip gravity for you were too much for my brain.

Hand drawn sprites are great. I bought the remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap just cuz it was so flippin pretty and the characters are so cute.

It sure would be nice to see more 2d animation, but I'm glad 3d animation is at least having fun now. It was cool whenever a shot in Puss in Boots 2 would mix up the style with flat silhouettes and stuff like that. I also feel like Turning Red doesn't get enough credit for all the weird shit it pulls.

They aren't as rare as people think. You want rare, the tonberrys in the sunken cave only show up once in a blue moon.

They're the only thing I remember being a pain to capture. Supposedly if you stand in a certain blue corner of the cave they're more common, but who knows if that's just FFX's equivalent of holding down + B to catch pokemon.

Fun fact, this is only true because of the damage limit. Otherwise, it would be a physical attack from Auron's celestial weapon under optimal circumstances, but only in the original Japanese version - in all others (including American PS2, unlike most version differences), this got nerfed and the title would instead go to Kimahri's Nova.

Makes as much sense as anything lol. Whatever the case, we got a rad song and a fight with a cool gimmick. It's not nearly as hard as any of his previous fights, but the spinny glyph things are a neat idea.

I guess he must have realized the whole final aeon angle wasn't gonna work at some point after Gagazet and figured he'd try just playing puppet master instead. That fight music is a banger though.

Also idk how he was planning to become the final fayth anyway when he was already dead. I thought Lulu or someone said that fayth were the souls of the living willingly being bound into the statues. But maybe I'm making that up or it's just unreliable narration. If part of an aeon can become a fayth, who's to say an unsent can't?

Just looked up ampeels and river prowlers and now I'm not sure if I ever realized they were different things. I definitely don't remember the name river prowler, so maybe I scanned the eel and then assumed they were the same thing lol.

Before Pokeymans SV came out, I was desperately trying to avoid leaks and spoilers, even about the unrevealed evolutions of pokemon that were already revealed. It was going well until the final couple days when my friend tagged me in a post with a video of Quaxly's second form evolving into its third form.

Probably not the worst spoil, but it's the one that comes to mind. I just like going into a game on the dev's terms and getting to explore and experience things for myself. At least I got to evolve my lechonk unspoiled. And I'm so glad, cuz it's evolution turned out amazing and I was so relieved they didn't fuck it up.
