As someone who loves comic book and superheroes, it's hard to deny that a large chunk of the community is made up of insecure manchildren with unhealthy views towards women.

And the thing is a lot of Texans will inevitably say, during every election, "Don't leave the state! Texas is purple, we can flip it!"

And every single election ends up being a massive disappointment while the GOP only gets stronger down here.

Texas ain't worth saving and it can't be saved. The backwards-ass rural communities with populations of 200 people hold too much power. Better to just pack your bags if you can and let conservative voters deal with the consequences of their own decisions.

There's two things that are crucial to understanding the conservative mindset:

1) Everything they do is motivated by fear of a manufactured threat

2) They do not see nuance in any situation because they've been conditioned to see the world as black-and-white. Democrats bad, Republicans good. Gun control bad, gun rights good. "Christian" values good, anything else bad.

This is how you end up with a group of people fighting a make-believe "culture war" who are unwilling to abandon the GOP. They literally believe giving Democrats even a slight win means the erosion of their "personal freedoms" and "civil liberties".

I'm sure many of them subconsciously realize that the GOP's actions do not align at all with what they claim to value, which is why many of them come so close to having a breakthrough. But ultimately, their paranoia-fueled nonsense wins in the end, resorting in them doing olympic-level mental gymnastics to justify the Republican Party's actions. After all, it would shatter their little conservative minds to acknowledge that the people they thought were the "good guys" are even dirtier and shittier than the people they were told are their enemy.

It is. I get that it's not for everyone, since it's a slice-of-life comedy that doesn't have any real stakes and today's audience is more interested in serialized storytelling. And the humor might not work for some folks (I found it legit hilarious a lot of the time)

I hate the whole vote blue no matter what, but honestly I'm probably going to be doing that this election. My state kinda needs as many blue and seeing that fucking Dr Oz is closing in on the best progressive since Bernie, really annoys me.

Not that it wasn't obvious, but I guess for a lot of conservatives, being Oz is a TV personality is more important than anything since he represents less things that a real PA resident thinks over Fetterman.

The thing that's REALLY broken about Cyberpunk is that it uses the GTA style reputation system - which is to say, there's no reputation system and if you get the fuzz off you, suddenly you're as innocent as the windswept snow.

So I've been mowing down civilians with cars and randomly shooting people just to scare the crowd. Then I hope on my Akira bike and blaze out.

Honestly, I feel like it makes sense with the lore. There's so much crime in Night City that the NCPD is overworked and they probably don't care that much

Oh hey, I just finished my 2nd playthrough and went with that build.

The suicide run/storming Arasaka's Tower alone ending was really fun with it.

I heard that ending is really difficult. I want to try it lol

Beto's campaign strategy has actually been very good so far. He's been hitting up a lot of the rural communities and actually been willing to sit and listen to their grievances.

But unfortunately, I don't think anybody can overcome the sheer stupidity of Texas voters or the fucked up voter suppression going on here.

Back when CP2077 first came out I did a bog standard SHOOTAN build and it was quite boring. Getting into the hacking and stuff makes it a lot more fun.

I completely emptied the Arasaka's perimeter of employees and guards... using Saburo's katana.

Melee is pretty damn broken in CP2077 lol. Even on my current build that's very much focused on guns, my Monowire still totally eviscerates fools lmao

I want to try a pure hacking build next; seems like it'd be tons of fun.

My current playthrough is a run-and-gun Smart Shotgun/SMG/Rifle build and it's been so much fun. I've got the Sandevistan, as well as cyberware that allows me to do air dodges AND slows down time whenever I dodge while attacking. Has a very Matrix vibe to it.
