You don't get it, the clips on YouTube shown by the algorithm are LCD shit for the masses. Jerma is one of the most creative people on the platform of Twitch and constantly uses streaming to go beyond just some guy playing a game and instead turns it into stunts, shows, and other performances

he streamed both the original and the remaster collection and did a ton of streams of it. you can find the archives on the jerma stream archive youtube channel.

the tutorial case was a bit underwhelming. The idea of playing as Susato is cool; that's about the extent. Hosonaga appears, but he doesn't get to do anything... it's just a little cameo. Really he has nothing to do with the case. Same for Natsume, though of course he appears in the second case.

Currently playing the second case. It's interesting enough, I feel kind of bad putting Olive Green on the stand.

In Civ VI and I think V, he is intentionally aggressive by the devs, in reference to the urban legend of nuclear Gandhi from Civ I/II. But in those original games, the glitch never existed. He's no more or less aggressive than other peaceful Civs.

The developers of Sid Meier's Civilization themselves have explained the code for the original games. Not only is there no evidence of such a glitch, but the manner it is typically said as having occurred (an integer overflow from Gandhi's aggression value falling below 0) has no basis in the code whatsoever. Something like that can't happen due to the nature of the variable and C code.

I like part 5 but I'm not impartial. It was the first manga or comic book I ever read. I like that it has relatively little baggage compared to the rest of Jojo. It's a part that's pretty focused on action and it marked a new direction of Araki's style.

Yeah I'll fully admit, I don't really know what the fuck Soft and Wet or Paisly Park actually does. It feels like if Araki needs something to be done, it just works. At least with the previous Protagonist stands, I get the "logic" behind the powers at minimum.

By the end of JJL, Paisley Park can apparently hack any electronic and also take on its properties, but in exchange it moves from device to device at the speed of a person more-or-less rather than as fast as electricity. An educated Yasuho could probably quickly become the richest person in the world by hacking crypto and also learn a ton of government secrets. I guess Kyo had to bring the phone to Josuke because PP needs a conduit to act around as a surrogate for the stand user's body.

Honestly I think Soft & Wet was pretty fine until ~99 when it became a gun. It's mentioned that 'something' is spinning at high speeds in the bubbles to shred things, and then for the rest of the manga it's just accepted that Josuke's stand is now Tusk.

The fact his power was so limited was part of what made him so cool. Burning the orchard was such big dick energy

far as why Gregson wouldn't let Graydon get charged, he was covering his own ass. The entire deal as illegal as fuck, and letting Graydon take the fall means that Graydon could just tell the police that Gregson helped him out.

I mean before the deal was made. Graydon threatens it would be uncomfortable if the disk came out public, but he clearly has very little power to actually effect anything. The disk is noise without the other half and it's unclear if Graydon even knows its true contents. If it were leaked, the public would just hear four names. Unless it's a personal matter and Gregson doesn't want it known that his name is in the message? At best Graydon could yell out the contents, but it would be pretty much nonsense to the crowd. At the time the deal is made, Graydon had already been placed at the scene IIRC, meaning he'll be arrested after the trial no matter what, he has no way to escape Scotland Yard taking the disk?

On occasion this game lays on its sociopath interpretation of Holmes pretty thick.

The resolution of this case made Van Ziek less interesting. He apparently did not have a grand plan regarding the lord chief justice who he'd badmouthed before, he just doesn't have a good relationship with Scotland Yard. And he did not burn the omnibus. He's just a guy who came out of retirement against McGilded and is also racist because a Japanese guy betrayed him.

You know I don't really understand what pointing out the chain of custody of the second disk and that Graydon got info from Gregson in particular does to prove Graydon is the culprit. And why wouldn't Gregson just let Graydon be charged at which point he'd have the right to search his person and retrieve the disk.

Gregson is a cold motherfucker. He took the tidbit of the blood on the coat from when he eavesdrops on you at the end of the first day. Dude had no care for Gina.

AAI2 is really damn good. There is such a fucking galaxy brained way they play with the most basic of AA formats. In case 4 they engineer it so the first evidence in Edgeworth's gallery is the Yatagarasu badge and it remains that way for the rest of the game. fucking genius

That's also probably the only game done by Takeshi Yamazaki which nails the 'mastermind' format. All of his games have the need of a 'main villain' who is at least indirectly responsible for everything that happens. AAI2 is the only game that also makes that person a fleshed-out character.

I've made a conscious choice not to wear graphic tees or stuff with logos since 9th grade. In 10th grade I actually had a friend who got annoyed with me about it and complained I wore plain color shirts.

I've heard a lot to support the single-game theory, albeit without hard proof. Allegedly Takumi wanted to make 10 cases in one game and just release it as a single adventure (Like what the eventual localization got), but it was just too much to do in a single game and it was eventually split into two. I believe that there's at least a bit of evidence out there that points to that, though I'd have to research it again to say beyond that.

The three-game theory is one that I believe is a myth. I've seen it mentioned a number of times as well, but I've never seen anything to substantiate it. As far as I can tell, the story that we got is always the one that was intended for the games.

Well I just hope he got to do what he wanted. He is a good writer and director.

On the subject of Ryu vs Phoenix. Ryu is more of a driven character while Phoenix is an everyman. That can be a strength for Phoenix as he has amazing banter dialogue during investigations. The one that will never leave my mind is him contemplating playing on the park at night in 3-3. Ryu on the other hand is saddled with a lot of fish-out-of-water dialogue and is kinda in the passenger seat of another guy's fate. But he is a good person and has interesting thoughts wrestling with his duty of zealous advocacy and examining burgeoning internationalism.

Case 4 is among the stranger cases in the series. In the first place there's not even a death although murder is still the subject. It's the only one I didn't end up replaying because frankly, not too much gets accomplished for the greater narrative from my memory.

It would feel more at home as a second case after a tutorial because it's just kinda... low stakes or energy or something. But then again it needs to be where it is because it's a time Van Zieks is confronted with an irrefutably innocent defendant after the omnibus murder. Well then perhaps it is at home with the rest of this strangely paced game.

I've actually heard it said that the creator wanted a trilogy like he did with the original Ace Attorney games, but 2-3 were forced to be condensed after poor sales. It doesn't surprise me that overall the games have a hazy production story, especially with the increase of speculation from them originally being japanese only. I remember people saying they were un-localize-able lol.

Maybe the Floorplan? Based on where he died they couldn't have seen him, the door would have been in the way. Thus, there's no way they saw the actual killing.

It turned out you had to present the photo of the body, and that actually conveyed...that he didn't have a gun in his hand. It's a mess of a testimony.
