Unless of course it's determined that he knew there was live ammunition in the gun before pulling the trigger. In any other circumstance an actor is obviously not responsible for a gun going off on set just because they are holding it. | JJH777 09/29/22 9:28:25 PM #31 | The only way Baldwin has any responsibility is if due to his leadership on set he created an environment that didn't take safety regulations seriously or depending on his role in hiring the arms master and if proper vetting was done. An actor being given what's supposed to be a prop gun isn't responsible for it being loaded. It's completely unrealistic to expect every actor who's ever handled a gun for a movie to check the weapon before use. If anything that would cause major issues because it would create many more chances for the gun to be loaded. If they'd read them they'd know the movies changed a shitton as well and it's a silly thing to get upset about. I do feel bad for the people who actually read all of Tolkien's work and were hoping for the first truly faithful adaptation of middle earth. But those aren't the people complaining about black characters. The people doing that wouldn't have the attention span to get through even the LOTR novel. Rings of Power is shit, and I knew it would be one they fired their Tolkien historian when he said it wasn't following the vision of the franchise. They deserve to get review bombed. Can't comment on she hulk though. Do you like the PJ movies? The single most Tolkien knowledgeable person alive at at the time of their release said they were shit designed for young adults for not following the books closer. So, by your own logic everyone should hate those too. Of course that logic is stupid. Adaptations can take liberties and still be good. Maybe in most cases they'd be better if they followed the source more faithfully but not following it doesn't make it automatically shit. Few minor nitpicks (Elves with modern style haircuts, Galadriel soloing a troll and being obsessed with revenge) but besides those small things I thought it was great. Amazing visuals, probably the best ever in a TV show. While it's not a solo film, Batman has the most screentime by far, it was the introduction of a new Batman, he was the main viewership driver and is in the title. The only really good Star Wars content is episodes 4 and 5, KotoR 1 and 2, and some EU novels that aren't even canon anymore. Organized crime that is to the level of needing guns even in a gun free society would be handled by FBI or military. In our world I think just banning certain types of guns and making all guns significantly harder to get is a more realistic solution. It should be at least as hard to get a gun as it is to get a driver's license. Currently I'm 31 and I expect to be able to retire around 50 if everything goes to plan. So the first option would save me 19 years of work but I'd lose 18 years of life. That trade doesn't seem worth it. Now if I was 18 and I was cutting out 32 years of work in exchange for 18 years of life that might be worth it. About the US nation wide median wage which for my area is pretty great since the median wage here is significantly lower than nation wide. 2 bedroom apartment for a good price. Lots of income leftover after expenses. Life still sucks though. Getting 1 or even 2 shot basically doesn't happen in DS unless you are running around naked with no points in vitality. Democrats would have still won in 2000 and 2016 under a proportional representation model. It gives candidates a reason to visit and appeal to every part of the country. Even parts that vote against them because just swinging a portion of the population is still helpful. With the current system political candidates only visit and try to appeal to swing states. With a pure popular vote system they would only go to population centers. Proportional representation is the best way to make our candidates work for the whole countries vote. And just to clarify if the only choices were electoral college or popular vote I would go with popular vote.
