For some reason at some point I started getting a lot of The Quartering recommended. I just click the Do Not Recommend.

She says she never intends for me to join the church, and she will never force me, but then she says she hopes i will watch a service or find love in Christ. This sounds a lot like how my church used to say they wont force anyone to join, but they heavily suggest it is better if you do.

She says no sex before marriage. I told her i dont just want sex, but i DO want to be able to express my feelings in an adult way when appropriate. I asked if this were a problem. The world itself and the lore are the best thing about the game.

Yeah, Im not looking forward to this. On the eastern side of Florida, but with the size and speed of it, I should get rain starting tonight and tropical storm force winds tomorrow evening. Eye isnt supposed to be in my general area until Thursday, so this will last quite some time.

I stopped watching after the third episode, but the major inaccuracies that annoyed me involved Galadriel.

-She is absolutely nothing like her character in the lore from the 2nd age. She should be married to Celeborn by now and have given birth to Elrond's future wife.

-She was banned from going back to Valinor, and even if she wasn't would never have been convinced to go on that boat. She was interested in creating her own kingdom in the 2nd age.

-The show completely glosses over her powers as being one of the only Elves on middle earth to see the twin trees. She should be able to sense the desires and motives of all those around her, as well as communicate mentally. Her men betraying her in the first episode was laughable for that reason alone.

-She should be much much much older than she is portrayed, and would be taking orders from nobody. She is basically the 3rd generation of all elves, while Gil-Galad is 5th or 6th. The High King wouldn't presume to tell her shit. Nobody goes around ordering their great aunts. She is either a similar age to Cerebrimbor, whose actor looks 40-50, or even slightly older. They don't go into his age in too much detail in the Silmarillon.

I have a sister and a half sister. We grew up together with our mom.

My dad and step mom could never have kids for many reason. And they were always very bitter about my half sister. My dad would tell my sister and I when we were young kids that our half sister wasn't our real sister and we shouldn't treat her as good as we treat each other.

Horrible shit. I don't think we ever treated her differently, but I was 8 years older than her so we weren't really that close until recently. I felt bad for her because my full sister moved out and started living with my dad when she was 16 so my half sister really had no one close to her growing up.
