It wasn't meant to be an "empowering moment" it was just her character trying to justify herself to go back to her ordinary lawyer life. Remember this is new territory for them, none know why she has an easier time with the whole Hulk thing. If you're a comic book reader, you would know because she carries less baggage than Bruce. Thor didn't have anything else to hype about other than a "female thor" that she ended up not sticking around long enough for. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent love story but that was literally all it had. Taika decided to crank up the "humor" ten fold and it ended up falling on its own head because of it. The main reason he was able to break the algorithm because in his hustler class people get paid in commission if they spam his videos all over social media. Almost all of these videos posted on these social media sites is either him showing off his luxury lifestyle or saying sexist shit. Yep, it's a huge misconception that it's the doctors/surgeons that make the price. In fact, in most cases, they don't even know how much the whole operations would cost as a whole. There was a stupid expectation that for some reason a small Ma and Pa shop would be able to price match with Amazon or Ebay. Customers would get mad at the wrong people when their insurance says they wouldn't cover an item they were looking for. Call us fatphobic when a +300lbs guy has to pay extra for their equipment because their equipments need to be able to hold up that much. Call us scammers when they bring back a broken rental item and we have to charge them for the damages they made to it. Call us liars when an item they bought online says that we can fix their item under warranty free of charge, when that is not true at all. Get pissy when we charge a small delivery service fee of $5's to deliver an item that is +30 miles away same day. The worst part about this was that we were required to eat it all up. We couldn't say anything back to the customers other than the typical corporate jargons. I'm so glad I'm in a job position where I can reject customers that would be a giant pain in the ass to deal with. I was always told that I would hate the people I work with when I did retail, but it was the entitled customers that seem to think the customers is always right. And man don't get me started when I worked in fast food. --- DI MOLTO! |
