I do see it as terminating a life or, at the very least, a life-in-progress. But it certainly isn't tantamount to murder. Not every impregnation can result in childbirth. It's shameful the politicians who want rape victims to carry fetuses to term, who want a woman to give birth if it kills her, who want a woman to give birth if her child is guaranteed to be stillborn, who want her to give birth if she's no more than a child herself, etc. Don't get me wrong, abortion should be a right regardless of a woman or girl's reason for wanting one. But it's utterly shameful the people who actively want them to die for the "pro life" cause. |
