I got mine. This is a great idea. Now if only I could vote by smart phone. Not much choice in Chicago Illinois. There are 4 Democratic candidates for Sheriff. Some research needed and I make myself fill out the judges so research for that.

I would rather use a drop box than trust the mail but if I ask a friend to drop it off, I have to fill out a form which he signs and I sign. Apparently these drop boxes have someone stationed 24/7 to check identity of the person leaving the ballot. It does not say that the person dropping off the ballot must be an adult but would you want to risk it? What kind of crime would they call it if I got someone under 18 to put it in the box for me?

It is Texas. I have no clue whether this event is right or wrong but I cannot see it happening in Chicago.

I sat out with a cup of tea by the alley because sun and because the steps up to the alley have a solid metal railing for a backrest. Before I sat I checked where the voice was coming from and there are two men just sitting in the alley. (ok - happens a lot)

I watched birds, planes and clouds and I am amazed that my eyes still work after all the time I spend surfing the internet, reading --- basically not using my eyes.

You can find research on the internet that supports whatever narrative you want to side with. Nothing beats smoking it for yourself and learning that weed isn't shit. It's so incredibly easy to tell who hasn't smoked it from the way they fear monger it and buy into old conservative myths.

Do you actively do 3D printing? I got an original Prusa Mini which works but I am determined to set it up myself. It is amazing how many mistakes you can make with something basically fool proof. I was trying to callibrate the first layer with the Wizard and then found out I have to slice my own first layer because .25mm nozzle and the Wizard assumes .4 nozzle.

It is still possible to slow global warming but it is unlikely. Good planets are hard to find.

Not sure how you mean this. People are funny but I take no joy in people suffering anxiety.

I spent way to much time on it. I did finally get some insight into it. I ended up plat'ing it. I enjoyed the community aspect of the game. So many gamers love this game and are willing to answer questions and willing to be summoned for boss battles. Really good community.

I also loved the exploits.

Deaths tend to lag behind cases, sometimes significantly so. Very few people are found to be a case and die of it at the same time, they usually die a few weeks later after treatment fails them.

I do not follow how this explains that deaths are increasing faster than cases.

I am looking at the NPR page and I am not sure that I understand the numbers---

It says that over 2 weeks cases have increased by 4.7% but then it says that over the same 2 weeks that deaths have increased by 25.8%.

I do not know these people and I do not know how their deaths are going to influence my life but eventually we will find out .

The way I understand it is that there is an antiviral. People who are considered irreplaceable can run around freely and be cured if necessary. Ordinary mortals can order home covid tests from usps and use the app to register a positive test and pick up the medicine at the pharmacy. We all know that we do not live in a world where each of us is valued.

I really wish that Public Transit required masks but I should probably be grateful that masks are allowed.

I have a decent old guitar. It is a classical Harmony made from spruce. The bridge is slipping around. I took it to 2 different repair places. Each took it for estimate - so 2 drives out to each - and said they had to completely replace the bridge for $1000. (both said the same. Maybe they know each other?)

Am amateur should not use adhesive on a guitar but a professional should be able to to get the bridge to adhere to the body without degrading the performance of the guitar.

Does anyone know a shop in Chicago which repairs acoustical style musical instruments and which is not too snobbish to work on a Harmony?

Good start even if companies have a work around.

Airbnb gets a "paper trail" for scams like the above or can implement one. There should be an entry in airbnb system when and why a switch is made: It is easy to see who is always making switches.

It is easy for airbnb to demand a photo copy of titles. Then when there is a complaint from a renter airbnb can investigate the validity of the title.

This is a start and took me 5 minutes to think of.
