So to get max power you need to get 5 star legendary gems with max attributes. The process of doing this and the odds on it (the chance of getting a 5 star gem is like .001%) adds up to that money on average I believe.

So apparently it costs $110,000 to unlock everything this game has to offer. Wow.

I wonder if there's going to be huge pushback from people like me who just assumed it was a big dumb action movie, but who aren't willing to actually give it a watch, ESPECIALLY if people start comparing it EEAAO for movie of the year. I legit thought this was supposed to be a Michael Bay Transformers caliber of movie until this topic.

I haven't seen either, I had no idea the first one was considered anything other than another dumb big budget 80s action movie.

It feels crazy to me that people are talking about 25 degrees as though it were ridiculously cold. I remember back in school they'd do all the roll calls and everything outside, with a rule that they'd only allow students inside early if the temperature dropped below negative 20; one morning it was exactly 20 below and the principal relished telling everyone not to complain and vowing the entire school would stay out there longer for each person that complained.

It's kinda ridiculous to go from "20 below zero is weather you force children into as punishment" to "weather 45 degrees warmer than that is fatal". So ridiculous I had to check historical weather charts and confirm the weather was actually -20 back then & my memory was actually functioning.

...In retrospect this may just be another example of how messed up my town is.

Not saying you don't raise a valid point, but there's a world of difference between consuming a work of fiction and actually being in the situation in question. I'm absolutely sick of criticisms implying the characters should have had the same foresight as the audience. Again, point taken though.
