I think it stopped being just a joke when someone said "I hope people start doing this."

I think whether it's rude or not depends on whether they were already talking with the streamer or someone else on a personal level (and that might depend on how large the streamer's community is or whether they directly engage with the community at all).

I actually never made the connection before, but Tomoko Kawase is also very similar to Avril Lavigne. Her songs in The Brilliant Green are on the mellow side, and her solo work as tommy heavenly6 are closer to her punk style (and then Tommy february6 is 80's synth pop). I should probably look into Avril some more since I did like her in the early 2000's.

I don't go to any ot boards that aren't game specific. I have seen some other PotDers in random threads there though.

Actually just a couple weeks ago there was a thread here talking about how one poster consistently has terrible posts. Very shortly after that on a game board, I was reading an old archived thread and saw a few posts with horrible opinions and misinformation, and sure enough it was that same PotDer. (I don't remember who it was now.)

Nothing new, but I watched some more Raising Hope recently. It's really good; it's made by the creators of My Name is Earl and has a very similar feel, so anyone who likes Earl should like it.

Zero chance her current opinion on abortion is motivated by regret. Ask anyone working in an abortion clinic and they'll tell you that they get a lot of pro-life clients who will tell them at length that what they're doing is heinous - before, during, and after their procedure. None of that stuff matters once it affects them personally.

We were poor growing up, so we got a lot of mileage out of demo discs from magazines and such. That's where I discovered a lot of beloved games like Legend of Dragoon.

I also remember before we had a memory card, when we would try to get as far as we could in Mega Man Legends before having to shut it off.
