^That game is my jam. I've been playing a mod called Redux; it's got a bunch of little tweaks like higher difficulty and different enemy decks/maps, uncensored card art, new deck leader abilities, reduced experience needed to rank up, and all cards obtainable.

That's one thing that always annoys me about chores. I always take longer than other people I know, but that's because I always take the time to do them right.

For movies, Static Shock is being worked on, but no idea when it'll be coming. For games, all I can think of are two games that are actually already out; waiting for a Switch release of Rogue Legacy 2, and the re-release of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure.

Never heard of this guy, but after reading just a few paragraphs, the world is legitimately a better place with him dead.

I just don't care for the new summoning methods, and I know that's all that I'll ever see when playing online.

I don't want that; I just think it's preferable for everyone if you aren't enjoying it and I'm not enjoying discussing it. I just got fed up with people posting nothing but constant negativity about shows yet keep watching them anyway. If the show just isn't enjoyable for you then don't let my recommendation be a factor.

Nah; we know several politicians that have done worse and are still in office or still supported. They'll just support their own no matter what, until the moment it's not beneficial for them to do so (and often even then). It's not about morals or platforms; it's about control and winning.

Yes, but that doesn't mean they'd all get along without turning on one another after that person is dealt with, or even before. That malice and selfishness would not end with just one person. Heck, that's another staple of the genre; everyone starts a game with one clear enemy, but just one or two betrayals is enough to destroy their temporary truce. Also I again think you're overestimating Shibe's financial state. They're not that obscenely wealthy, that they can throw those large amounts of money around on a whim.

Nobody has done that. Neither Yuichi nor anyone else has made claims of him being a genius. Actually later on they make a point of saying that he's not a perfect tactician.

If you keep expecting this perfect standard out of works of fiction then you're gonna keep being disappointed, and should probably just move on. I wanted to discuss the series with someone, but.. not like this. I don't think you've said one thing about it that wasn't a complaint. Seeing people whining nonstop about shows they keep watching is why I left the Arrowverse discussion boards.

Then there's also no reason for the board to have positive spaces. The whole logic there is that the good guys and bad guys need a chance to win to increase excitement for the audience. If the traitor is revealed earlier, the rest of the game will be considerably less exciting.

The whole point of the game is to destroy friendships and have people betray each other for money; that can and does very well happen with or without an original traitor. It's true that knowing the traitor's identity might give the rest of them a common enemy, but that's no guarantee and if people always showed such solidarity then the Tomodachi Game would have gone under long ago. A d the point of the positive spaces is obvious; to make money.

I just don't get how this series is giving you so much trouble. I've seen a lot of discussion on various sites, and practically none of the points you've brought up were mentioned elsewhere, even among negative comments.

No it doesn't. Once the friendships had seemingly fallen apart and people were taking the game seriously, they'd have no reason to keep that information to themselves. Even if their common enemy were revealed, it wouldn't change the situation they're currently in. They'd have nothing to gain or lose by revealing their identity, but as long as there was even the slightest chance of that happening then the traitor would never volunteer to have their secret told.

This is where you're just overthinking it. This final showdown could have gone down when Sawaragi reached any of the final few spaces. It just happened to be the very last one.

Yeah, it also seems to work out that way for me in real life, like at work. If there's someone I really just don't care for, 95% if the time they wind up quitting, getting fired, or screwing up in some other major way in short order.

There was a bit of luck involved with the way that he narrowed down the traitor. Seeing how they didn't have any solid strategy to defeat them, the next best thing was to keep them in a false sense of security, and maybe come up with a plan later or see how things develop; as long as they think everything is going according to keikaku, there would be no need to play a trump card like making several confessions before it's necessary. It was a gamble that worked out.

Even I think that "lie" was a bit of a stretch though, in the way that it worked out. But it did indeed throw the game into chaos one way or another.

In general discussion, you gotta feel bad for Shibe. The man was taking L after L this game. But at least that cleared his name as a side effect.

Every time I've ever had tuna casserole, it's made me very sick later. It's happened on multiple occasions, across different periods of time, made by different people. Even weirder because none of the individual ingredients make me sick.

It's another mistranslation in the rules. I just checked episode 2 and it did indeed say that getting caught in a lie puts you back to the beginning, but it never says that anywhere in the manga. It's supposed to be that having a lie proven wrong pushes you forward. It's kind of annoying that these mistranslations seem to be implying plot holes.

I was waiting for this episode of Tomodachi Game, when you finally start to see hints of Yuichi's true nature. Next episode will be even bigger.

Whatever was going on must have been fairly serious, because I saw at least one person recording the encounter on their phone before the gun came out.

I was going to the bus stop, and right in front of it there were two people arguing in the street; a young looking guy and a woman around her 30s (his car was directly in front of hers at a stoplight). I didn't hear what they were saying so I assumed it was an accident or something, but both of their cars were in good shape.

The guy started walking back to his car with the woman still yelling, then all of a sudden she pulls a fucking pistol out of her purse and starts yelling for him to drive away; he and several other cars did just that. Obviously I didn't stick around either; I just booked it to the next bus stop.

As demonstrated, there are many people who bury their heads and refuse to acknowledge that any such problems exist at all; it's pretty difficult to get anything done as long as that mentality exists.

I rarely do that, but I always tip wherever it's customary. Tipping definitely shouldn't be required for anyone to make a decent wage, but that's the reality in this country, so I do.

This thread is a perfect microcosm of what's happening in the country. People aren't actually researching it, they straight up ignore when it's explained to them (like how I already said the nuclear spill analogy was wrong), and just say it demonizes white people.
