This pisses me off for two reasons. My town was designed as if bicycles do not exist. And there are several people who do this instead of just riding on the sidewalk.

It's a shame Kirby never fully recovered from his massive nerf in Melee. He was Got tier in Smash 64.

She took some learning, but I've got a good enough handle on Watcher; it's all about knowing when to hold back and when to go Godzilla. I never found much use for Scrying though.

As far as who I like playing as, it's Silent > Defect > Watcher > Ironclad.

I love the main game, but I also love discovering and exploiting glitches. Lately I've been playing around with two very simple ones that I haven't seen discussed much.

- Card duplication. If you use a card or potion that lets you choose cards to discard, select the cards, but don't confirm it. Immediately save and quit. When you start up the game again and end your first turn, extra copies of the cards you selected will suddenly spawn in your discard pile. The best part is that this works even across different save files, so you can create cards from different character decks.

- Boss relic duplication. (As far as I know this only works on Switch; haven't tried it on different platforms before.) When choosing a relic after beating a boss, simply press the Confirm button several times, and you'll get several copies of the relic. I've gotten around a dozen with a turbo controller.

That second glitch isn't necessarily as great as it sounds. Some abilities do stack, like the Silent's relic that adds 4 damage to all 0 Cost attacks - which turns a Shiv deck into a Straight Up Murder deck. But relics that give you more energy per turn don't stack the energy addition - they only stack the negative effects of the relic. The Cursed Key will give you several curses when you open a chest, the Broken Crown completely negates all card rewards, etc.

Of all the things I ever expected Trump to do, electing not to speak never even crossed my mind.

Like even in this exact situation, I wouldn't expect him to put his ego aside long enough to just shut up for a moment.

Occasionally when I'm getting a great deal on a game (usually if it's part of a bundle deal like 4 for $20) I'll fail to ask myself if I really actually want it.

I really wish they would bring back the Starburst Twizzlers that they had like twenty years ago. We used to love those and the jellybeans, but they both got discontinued. They did bring back the jellybeans and there's another kind of Twizzlers now, but those aren't the same as the old ones.

Wasn't crazy about the Vienna sausages, but I'm all about Spam.

I kinda knew I was in trouble in a tournament last night. I actually dominated the first round, 6-1 all scored by me - but I knew any team that had me as the best player had no chance of winning a tournament.

I still suck at aerial game, so I've been focusing more on reading the flow of the game and predicting enemy actions.

How the f*** am I supposed to compete with that?

I always seem to get introspective whenever i finish up a convention. Nothing really major this time; I was just thinking about how the course of my life changed back in 2008 when I was sitting at a library reading manga, and a guy named David approached me and introduced my to a local anime club he ran.

I started being more social with anime/games, I was opened to the idea of actually going to a convention (although it was a few years later that I finally did go), and David taught me to be more proactive with my interests. If it wasn't for that day I wouldn't be going to any conventions at all, let alone working for them.

I once said I'd like to do this as a career, but I've learned that that's not really practical unless you're very high up on the chain; most of the people I was working with/for at the con still had day jobs. Still, I love being involved in this stuff even if it's unpaid, and don't see myself stopping unless the opportunities around me simply dry up.

I don't really have many bad money habits, except this thrift store that I go to almost every week. It has set prices by day ($7/5/4/2/1/.50 starting on Fri and closed on Thur), and almost anything can be found there. I've found myself buying a bunch of 1TB and 2TB portable hard drives even though I don't need so many, just because they're cheap.

As far as recent stuff, I'm not really the right person to ask since I've been mainly reading more realistic stuff lately, and not much action or scifi. The few I can think of are all isekai like Grimgar (and that one doesn't seem to have many chapters of the manga available, as opposed to the anime and LN).

That Eminence one does look cool though. From what I read of the synopsis, the protagonist was basically a chuunibyou in his previous life, then got isekai'd and decided to turn his delusions into reality by taking over.
