oh sorry not "new" new.

heres my process

students get a brand new, out of the box chromebook when they start here. usually 7th grade.

when they get to 9th grade, they get a brand new one. we call this a refresh.

their old one gets put in a pile, reset if needed but usually not, and that's the "loaner/replacement" pile.

when a student has an issue with their chromebook, just give it to the office, and they get a new one from the loaner replacement pile. that is now their CB.

if i can fix the one they gave me, it gets put back into the loaner/replacement pile. if not, it's ewasted or used for parts

AND IT JUST WORKS

what DOESN'T work is me emailing the teachers and students about their repair, because they took of all the keys on their keyboard and don't know how to put it back so they just say its broken
