I had my last one for 6 years then dropped it in the ocean, so I've had my current one for 3 years. I don't understand why people buy new phones every year...

2 months old, but it's an S22 so probably a few months more than that.

yea, the one I have is around three years old.

it's the Pixel 3a, and I got it some time in 2019.

Mine's from circa 2005, and I'll keep using it until it stops working.

my s8 active is 5 years old. still holding up pretty well

Pixel Pro 6, but it was new to me about a month and a half ago.

s8 from 2017

I've had it for 18 months, but it's a four generation old phone at this point. It works fine enough for what I need it for. I have no plans to upgrade.

Note 9

S9 plus. Got it right before the next model released so it was on sale. Actually ended up cheaper than the S8 that I was planning on buying.

It still runs everything just fine and the battery life hasn't diminished enough to notice. But with Samsung no longer supporting the phone and ending software updates I may replace it next year.

I have the S9. Battery is starting to be a bit weak. Still runs fine, but I cracked the bottom corner of it the other day so I've been starting to look at replacements.

I think three years old. Noticeable problems now. Need to upgrade.

Just over two years. I remember because we went camping in March of 2020, my phone broke while we were out there, and I came back to a world that was shutting with a broken phone. Verizon replaced it for free because it was known issue, though. Lucky me!

I just got a S22. My phones typically go about 4-5 years. I liked my S8 better tbh.

Moto z4. Almost two years. No plans to upgrade anytime soon.

3 months, 1 week

Still have a Galaxy S10 Note+ that is still in perfect condition. I might upgrade in a few more months, though.

Still on my launch edition Note 20 Ultra from August 2020. Might entertain whatever comparable product Samsung releases next year. The phone itself has been perfectly fine.

I bought it in either 2018 or 2019. I dropped my last phone and it fucked up the screen and caused it to start randomly shutting off.

Just under a month, got the RedMagic 7 Pro right when it launched in the US

Got it late December because my old one got wrecked when I fell onto my table, breaking it, and the phone in the process.

That phone was a little over 4 years old, because I had to get my previous one replaced right after my mom died. Woke up and phone stopped turning on. It was under warranty.

You're aware that almost every American phone carrier has stopped supporting 2G networks for several years now, and that SMS/MMS would be next to impossible due to standards and character sets constantly updating, right?

It's a few months old. I'm gonna be holding on to this one for a few years.

iPhone 12 Pro, I think they came out in 2020? I got it January 2021. Plan on keeping it until the iOS updates stop.

Probably 3-4 years. I literally just have the back of a case on it. I broke the front of my case off like a year ago. But the rubber part holds the back of it on good enough still

Maybe nine months.

Well, I'm not American...
Anyhow, my phone's mainly for receiving texts and calls. I don't send texts much at all and rarely make calls. If for some reason I cannot use my phone anymore, however, then I'll get a new one. Simple as that.

Good for you. I actually didn't even get my first cellphone until like 2009

Less than a month. One before that I had for 7 years.

Note 10 Plus. It's almost 3 years old at this point.

I'm still using my Motorola Moto X Pure Edition. I've had that phone since the launch of that model.

I'm at 6 years, 9 months and counting.

In terms of how long I've had it, about a month and a half. In terms of how long since the model was released, just over a year. (Oppo A94 5G.)

Almost 3 years I think. It still works fine except the battery isn't as good as it used to be.

Just replace the battery yourself.

iFixIt kits with replacement parts are cheap & simple enough.

I haven't confirmed if it's possible but I will look into it. Might need my brother's help. It's an android though. If that matters

Maybe like 2-3 years at most. It's a Samsung A71 Android.
