Its an open world thats not littered with icons where (almost) every place feels like it was handcrafted and has something unique and cool. Also classic Souls gameplay.

Agreed - the game is basically nudging you to say go somewhere else for a while and come back. Which I did, and it wasn't that bad after that. Felt like a fair fight with an Uchi+3 at about level 20ish.
