I mean its right there at the top of the page that I want people to vote for the Greens. Who has trouble reading sorry?

Labor.

I appreciate the push for the Greens. The guy before Adam Bandt made an incredible speech about how our political system has been used as a billboard for political change despite those uses being used for personal enrichment, but this current Greens is doing shit like contesting Labor seats more than they're contesting Liberal seats.

I like how progressive the Greens are, and the more Green seats the better. But the Greens will get their policies implemented through the Labor party with enough support, and targeting the Labor strongholds seems like suicide.

The Liberals have national media on their side - Rupert Murdoch, Nine/Fairfax and the United Australia Party. The UAP are attacking all sides, but with Clive Palmer and multiple Liberal MPs like Craig Kelly shilling for them, it's clear that this party is a far-right swing.

So why the Greens, our largest lefty party, are going after Labor seats - our majority centre-left party - is a mystery to me. It pisses me off because we need to push forward against the LNP. This is some serious divide-and-conquer shit y'know. Green seats are counted with Labor votes in the case of a majority Labor vote, so if they target Liberal votes, their efforts will count in getting Liberals out of office. So why are they trying to win Labor footholds instead of Liberal ones?

I mean, you cant get blood from a stone. They know they kinds of people who are likely to support them. And they aint LNP voters.

Focusing 100% on personal improvement, getting into a career, getting my nonexistent finances in order, being someone deserving of dignity

That's good but: I think your heart is in the right place but you're drawing the opposite conclusion. You need to use habits and discipline as a means to enjoy your life and improve, not as a way to whip yourself into shape or punish yourself. As long as you do that to make self improvement your primary goal, everything else will come naturally.

well, you don't really have to change who you are, but instead change what you surround yourself with.
some things that helped me are:
quitting caffeine entirely (it raises cortisol (stress) as well as makes you more sensitive to dopamine, which can essentially make things feel less enjoyable/worthwhile. caffeine seriously fucks you up, but it's probably the most widely accepted drug out there)
took a month break from the internet, quit social media entirely
develop a schedule. this one's more for consistency, so when 10am hits, I know "ok, time to manage my emails" - even if i don't want to, i feel better knowing it got done for the day
exercising regularly
finding at least 1 hobby where there can be improvement (drawing, instruments, woodworking - the toughest part with this is to not compare yourself to what others are doing, or the rate of progress that they make. use it as inspiration for where you can go with that hobby)
and also one hobby that's more activity focused (bike rides, disc golf, walks)

i don't know if i "enjoy life" better after starting that, but i do appreciate things a lot more. take video games, for example - before this, i stopped enjoying games altogether, but now i appreciate my time playing them a ton because i only give myself 4 hours a week to do that.
basically, balance is the key.

on this topic tc I would recommend looking up both "habit stacking" and "habit friction" for cultivating good habits and limiting bad ones.

I remember at one point you making fun of either Marvel or video games or something by saying "consume and get excited for next products" or whatever. And I get the cyniscism, but that's the kind of thing I would work on first. Your attitude towards enjoying things and letting other people enjoy things that aren't for you. You just gotta lighten up a little to start.
