All we really know is that after Denno Senshi Porygon aired development stopped, the source code was backed up and then development resumed 6 months later with HAL Labs (and Iwata) joining their team.

To answer your question (and why I said that you should take your comforts into consideration):
If I were doing anything PC related and was not gaming, I would just get a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB, but they are REALLY expensive these days. There's really no reason to get a PC these days, but that really assumes you know what you're doing with Linux and I can't assume you do. I also can't assume you need any Windows specific software so that's why I didn't give you a good answer.
Only you know your needs.
I used a 4GB one for an office PC for around a year. I still use it but not as a desktop.

This season really demonstrates the weakness of the summer cour. Not really much going on outside of Saturdays.

ESPN is a disgrace of a network. Every half inning pushing some pro-Yankees pro-Aaron Judge rhetoric.
The Red Sox are 6 games over 500. Hell every team in the AL East is at 500 except for the O's and they are really close.
This entire season has basically been a giant marketing campaign for the Yankees and Judge. It's a disgrace.

The Wind Rises is even less fantasy than Porco Rosso and also focuses on early aviation (although The Wind Rises is around the design of the Japanese Zero rather than early Italian aviation).
Grave of the Fireflies and Only Yesterday are also very good but they are films directed by Takahata and not Miyazaki so their atmosphere is different, and Grave of the Fireflies specifically hits hard.
If you like Grave of the Fireflies (or any kind of WW2 animated drama sympathizing with the Japanese civilians) In this Corner of the World (specifically the extended cut) is fantastic. The extended cut is like 3 hours so it might not be for everyone.

Discord is the single worst thing to happen to developer community support because people will ask the same question 50 times until the devs get sick of answering. There is no Google, there are no topics, there is no history, everything you say is just gone.

Programming community projects shouldn't have one, and if they do it should be confined. Discord is only good at keeping people out.

I'm curious, what projects are you working on that use discord as a discussion medium? I'm assuming they're video game related.
