I don't understand all the "vote in every poll" whinging. I don't think a typical GameFAQs user would open up the homepage, see the match banner, click to vote for 3 of the characters they saw, then just walk away and say fuck it because they don't know the 2 people in the last match. In that situation they would just pick the cooler looking character and be on their way.

I only listened to it twice. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it, either. Very unique musicianship like this one has makes an album polarizing. Most will either love it or hate it, but I'm just one of those people who understand both sides and says "It's very unique and well-crafted, but not really my thing."

This being said... may I ask why you kept listening? In the past when we've done albums I either didn't like or couldn't comprehend ranking, I simply didn't waste my time. I don't feel the need to rank every single week, only when I feel an album is listenable enough.

Also I'd be pretty shocked to see at least Tam and Grubb come over, both seem to like what they are doing where they are and I can hardly see how GB would be a step up for either one of them.

I think tomorrow will be the first time in years that i'll watch the bombcast live. I'm so curious to see how they spin Jeff leaving as not to be the complete death of the site. Like while i don't think it would ever happen, I feel like they should just rebrand the site at this point to something else to make the hard break from the old crew to whatever new crew it will be going forward.

Honestly doesnt surprise me. Interested to see what hes up to next, though.

Azula is the first place I actively dont like. I keep getting lost, and its not fun to figure out where Im going.

I'd kill for us to cover Forever Changes. It's a record I didn't quite click with on first listen, but over the last decade, it has consistently grown in my opinion until finally reaching my all-time top 20 last year. One of those classics albums that goes in such unique directions that it stands as a singular work even decades later.

(the other two are also great albums, but Forever Changes in particular really resonates with me)

Thanks! That makes sense, I'm glad the challenge exists. It's a great finale to the experience, intense as it may be.

I've gotta say I didn't expect the 'reward' for beating it to be an hour long lecture lol. That was also pretty enjoyable. I don't really think of this game as being some transcendental work of art, I just like the puzzles, but I appreciate a lot of the little stuff like that (and the audio logs) that they put in.
