I cannot stress enough just how important this is to me. Even if you plan to attend the draft on some or all days, there is only one person guaranteed to be present for the draft, and that's me because otherwise there is no draft. So the draft runs as smoothly as it possibly, I create a spreadsheet where I craft detailed draft plans for all user teams in case I have to draft for them. If I am given a strategy/queue/conditional (especially one that encompasses the entire draft) from a team, then I do not have to waste my time and effort for said team. Please do this as having to come up with draft plans for 20+ user teams would possibly take me 10+ hours to do.

Less than half of the league has done this so far, and with the draft beginning tomorrow, I will probably have to start this tonight as things currently stand, so please help me out.

That showed up on my YouTube recommended videos and will watch after beating the game for sure.

I started Everhood before going to bed and did 3-4 battles. While I never died (default difficulty was hard and I lowered it to normal before starting), I was frequently near death and figure that will be a fixture for the rest of the game.

I own all of the main ones except Valhalla, but I am slow to get around to them. I just beat Unity last month.

I'm going to kick off nominations with a pair that is at least somewhat fitting for October.

The Mummy Demastered

I'm planning on having October be another special four-game month, and I landed on the theme being an X-titled game to complete the alphabet as some of you have tried to do in the past. There were really only a handful of viable options imo, but instead of me deciding it, I would rather it go to a vote that will end come drawing time. You are free to make a case for a different game, but here are the four that I ended up with:

XCOM: Enemy Unknown
XIII (2003 or 2020 would be eligible, though I can't imagine anyone would want to play the latter)
Xeodrifter
Xenoblade Chronicles (original or DE would be eligible)

I would probably give people through the end of the year to beat Xenoblade, as in they would have all of October, November, and December to finish it with it being featured each month. It would not take the place of the normal three drawn games during that time.

I'm pretty sure I know what will have the most votes since this is B8, but you never know.

Dead Cells is on Game Pass for PC, console, and mobile.

Dead Cells and Detroit are on PS Plus Extra (according to MZero).

What is Game of the Month Club?
Game of the Month is a community project open to all B8ers where users share, discover, play and/or discuss a select few games every month. The games featured each month are chosen by YOU the users (and Lady Luck)

The Basics
- Each month will usually feature three games that were chosen via a random drawing from a pool of games that users nominated
- For each game you beat, you get a cool point on our just-for-fun standings as well as a nomination for next month's randomized drawing
- In order to receive the point and nomination, you must beat said game within the calendar month
- If you beat one of the current month's games in the previous month, you can apply for a "recently beaten waiver," but you will only receive a point and no nomination should you do so
- Drawing for next month's games is usually on the 25th
- If you periodically keep us posted on your progress and/or talk about different aspects of the games, then everyone will think you are super awesome!

Nomination Rules
- You get one nomination automatically each month
- You receive additional nominations each month for every featured game that you beat
- Each game you nominate has to be unique from all other nominations and cannot include a game that has already been selected for GotM
- Each game must be a standalone game that can be acquired and played on its own (aka cannot be DLC/expansion that requires the base game)
- Nominations only carry over if you beat a featured game after the drawing for next month's games but before the end of the month
- You have 9 supports you can use throughout the year. Your only limitations are that you can't support your own nomination, and you can only use one support per game per month

Great followup to FTL! While I return to FTL more for nostalgic reasons, I'm more likely to return to this game because of how more approachable and well-designed it is.

I definitely made sure to protect the power grid at all costs, and would reduce battle XP chances by placing my mechs on respawns and taking the damage and healing when given the opportunity. I was fortunate that I ended up finding two permanent pilots through the pods, so I had a better pilot lineup by the end, and I invested heavily in health and movement skills/powerups. The artillery I think has 2 base health, and I ended up with 6 or 8, with the other two having just as much or more. This allowed me to place my mechs in positions to where I didn't need to juggle their health in addition to short and long-term goals.

KCF has beaten Into the Breach

I was honestly just going to wait until September to beat it, but Crispy's confidence that they would finish it if played on easy in the wee hours of the night made me believe that I could maybe pull it off as well!

I resumed my first save, and I was one turn away from victory. I just totally blew it on that last mission. I really should have been highlighting every enemy attack just to see how much damage they would do to a building/me. I ended up losing the power grid on the final batch of enemy attacks when I was down to my last mech (or maybe I had two, but I definitely did not have a full squad).

Better understanding the mechanics and what to look out for, I...lowered it to easy and crushed a two-island victory lol. This is a great game and a more impressively designed game than FTL. I will definitely be going back to this.

There is apparently a link length limit, but yeah it appears to be a purchasable on Xbox, PlayStation, and UbiStore at the very least, but Xbox doesn't use Mythology Pack name from what I saw.

Going Under (XB1)

Goofy, colorful, and destructible, this roguelike dungeon crawler is greater than the sum of its parts. It is also a lot more difficult than I expected it to be. I almost quit in the second half, but I slowly unlocked access to more skills, and some of those skills were absolutely essential for me.

Yeah, but they said no roguelikes.

If Peggle 2 is available on PS5/Switch, that is a great option for a short play sessions.

Dak was a former 6th overall pick who ultimately never really put it together for the Browns and was no longer part of their future plans. With WR Allen Hurns a free agent and TE Austin Hooper more of a blocker, a scrambling QB like Portis is a much better fit for the Browns offense with WR DeAndre Hopkins as the solo plus receiving asset. While Portis' passing game has slipped a bit over the years, his running has not, and he could help boost and/or revitalize an OL that is among the weakest in the league. Booker and his career 4.2 YPC on nearly 150 carries is a great backup option, and Richardson was tossed in there as a cheap OT option after sending one out. They also save over $2 mil while plugging a hole that is generally on the more expensive side.

Portis, a two-time MVP, has had a great career with the Vikings, but he is no longer the best fit for the club. They need a QB to help out their first round pick from a season ago in WR Robby Anderson, and they already have four 20-something OL rated 95+. While it is just as likely that Dak is one and done in Minnesota, his skill set is one that the Vikings could use. They also receive LT Adrian Parker as an intriguing, young depth piece who could potentially succeed Junius Coston at RT, though Parker's 36 blocks: 6 sacks allowed in 32 games and 1 start doesn't exactly scream that.

Browns demonstrated that they understood the trade parameters, financial impact, histories of all players involved, and what both parties hoped to achieve. This trade is official.

Beasts of Maravilla Island (XB1)

This is like the fourth or fifth photography-based game that I have played this year. This game lacks polish and never quite reaches the immersiveness it deserves due to all the scripted game breaks, but given its budget, it did a great job at invoking a fantastical setting.

I'm actually legitimately shocked that so many people less that they didn't get it but more that they have never heard of it. As someone who has played it, I am ashamed to admit that it took me until guess #4.

I would not call any of those major games, well maybe there's an argument for FFXI

I've always found the series to be overrated, but UYA is actually a very good game with fun side stuff and a cleaner, friendlier menu/UI.

Oh wow, several characters on here that I know for a fact or assume came up through my user poll. I suspect without looking at the specific and theoretical matchups that Agent 47 will fare better than Sly, Jade, and Sam & Max.

I have been sitting on my last two for what seems to be all summer. I should fix that.
