I've talked to a bunch of 'IT' people at these company accounts that are 'IT' only because they just happen to be the folks who know the 'most' about computers in their company, not because they actually know shit. So I wouldn't be shocked if it actually happened this way. =P

I feel like I've asked you before but why not move into a more sys admin role? Less crazy end user stuff to deal with.

My mom was verbally abusive my entire life but has simmered in the last 10 years. We now spend our time on the phone talking about our jobs and the weather.

Regarding WWE stock, there are A shares and B shares. Basically, only McMahons own B shares, and Vince owns like 90% of them. B shares have equal monetary value as the A shares, but they hold 10x the voting power. So Vince still has like 70% of the shareholder voting power. He runs the company. Even if the board of directors vote him out, he in turn has the power to elect a new board of directors that will reinstall him into power.

Also, if B shares are sold/transferred to someone who is not a blood descendent of Vince, they convert to A shares. So whenever Vince sells his shares, he is still maintaining his control over the company.

From what I heard, NXT was going great until Vince and company interferred then it tanked but Vince still blamed HHH for it failing. Also it's a bit unreasonable to compare NXT to AEW's flagship show.

Yeah it looks cheap as hell. My wife tried to get me to roll but I couldn't manage. I'm very happy with her vape migration for multiple reasons.

It's wild seeing my wife's equipment evolve over the years. Her pipes grew in size over the years until she switched over to vape stuff which is smaller and cleaner but so much more expensive. Also good cause I no longer have to clean that crap out.

I was looking into when new Kart tracks are coming out, they release between March 2022 and December 2023... I thought it was 2022.

That said, the next pack of tracks won't release until November/December, then probably not again until April, according to stuff i'm reading about it now.

I was thinking like March, June, September, December. I didn't realize it was stretched across 2 years.

Yeah they're stretching out that DLC. Really annoys the shit out of me. My wife has been dying for those new dlc tracks.

If it was still cold, you should be fine. The main questions: is the chicken slimy, odorous, or discolored like greenish or yellow?

If not, you're fine. Cook it and make sure internal temperature is 165 degrees farenheit or more.

Hell, I've left chicken out for longer and cooked it and been fine (left it out by accident).

This. Yeah it's not preferrable to leave it out that long but as long as it looks fine and doesn't smell, you're good. Just make extra sure it's cooked thoroughly.

There's a concept in the IT field called Read Only Fridays. Purpose is to not make any changes that might break things before the weekend. Gives us a chance to slowly unwind, maybe do a little research on future projects, study for a certification, etc. If you don't have a cert or project to look into you just kick back and make sure the systems don't catch on fire.

One job I had, though, I didn't take a lunch break. I got to leave to thirty minutes early by not taking the break, so I liked that better.

I've had one job like that and I took that opportunity every chance I got.

I'm salary and my boss doesn't care as long as my work gets done. Sometimes I've been so busy I ate while working and other times I'll take a two hour lunch.

They really should've included 32X games with this too. Is there enough quality CD games to make it worthwhile? I really can't think of any besides Sonic CD and a couple of Japanese games. Same with the 32X side >_> If they just included both, it might help fill in the quality gap

But there were no quality 32x games. They were all either barebones ports of Genesis games or straight garbage like Spiderman Web of Fire.

Consider this a mistake and learn from it. Last year the fan on the outside part of our HVAC stopped spinning. Googled symptoms to determine it was a bad capacitor. Youtubed how easy it was to replace it. Bought a new one for $20 on Amazon and fixed it within 15 mins. Can't imagine how much an HVAC tech would have charged.

Smaller ones are light enough for just the window to support. Even bob vila says so.

Thats the type we have in the family room except water leaks in the window and the frame is rotting.

The AC is suppose to be tilted slightly backwards(like in my above pic) so the condensation water rolls out the back.

Nah, you get the most nutrients when you cook them, unless you overcook them. The benefits to raw veggies is mostly just the fiber. Your body will have more trouble digesting raw veggies, which means less nutrients actually getting into your body.

IIRC, you'll get the most nutrients if you eat them raw. The amount of nutrients they retain when cooked differs on how you cook them. Boiling vegetables(yuck) for instance will remove nearly all of the nutrients. Roasting will retain most.

I get the meaning behind that. When a problem pops up you want to confront it together as partners should, not on opposite sides. For example, one person wants to go out on the weekends and do activities but the other person is always too exhausted from the work week to do so. Instead of the active person blaming the exhausted person for never wanting to go out, a better thing to do is say, "Ok let's figure out why you're so exhausted and see how we can improve that so you will have the energy for weekend activities. Does your diet or sleeping schedule need to be adjusted? Maybe it's time for new job? Maybe there's some house chores I can do during the weekday that'll take the load off of you."

That sort of concern for your partner's well being even if they don't realize they're in bad shape is how a partnership should work. Both people should be putting the other ahead of themselves.
