Unskippable cutscenes suck, as do skippable ones that simply skip the instant you hit start or whatever instead of pausing and giving you the option to skip.

Yeah that's what I thought, apart from the Final video and Liam running his mouth during that time we've never heard specifics and everything else is fan speculation at best.

When did Matt specifically say he couldn't stand to be around Pat anymore? I know Liam said he and Pat had a falling out and that's why he left but as far as I'm aware Matt has never gone into specifics.

Pat's abrasive as fuck, yeah, but I don't think it's fair to pin most of the blame for the split on him.

I just hope the MCU eventually addresses just how much weaker Banner Hulk is right now. Dude can't even stop a moving car after bringing a flying battleship the size of a submarine to a complete stop with a punch. It HAS to be something they're building towards from a narrative perspective, right?

His feet weren't planted on the ground for the car, dude, even with all his strength he's not stopping a vehicle that's enhanced for him to be able to drive if he has no leverage to stop it with. It's not that complicated.

Didn't Dunkey sic his fanbase on a couple of smaller YT creators because he can't take criticism at all?

Those plus the improved performance and load times have made mine more than worth the purchase, though if I'd purchased a PS4 Pro at some point the improved performance probably wouldn't matter as much.

Gonna take a guess and say the boss the Wrecking Crew were referring to will end up being The Leader, finally making that tease from 2008 pay off.

It looks totally fine in game.

The bit with Laurentius is one of my favorite things about the game, because in any other game telling him about the Chaos sorcery you found would be the optimal thing to do, but here lying to him and not telling him about it saves his life, because if you don't tell him about it he just stays in Firelink.

Minor spoilers for how hollowing is implied to work - there's a strong implication that you go hollow when you no longer have a purpose or motivation, and so telling him about the Chaos sorcery leads him to go down there looking for the source and he loses his motivation and goes mad when he's unable to find it. Also serve as a meta thing where a player who gets frustrated and gives up on the game could be seen as going hollow themselves.

Bed of Chaos is notoriously bad, Souls games tend to have one or two gimmick bosses and IMO BoC is by far the worst.

A closer bonfire would definitely help though!

Solaire - yeah he's a goner. The requirements for saving him are pretty hidden.

The PS3 port was notoriously bad.

Regarding Stray, the cat does not "join the revolution" or whatever, the goal is simply to get out of the city and that goal happens to align with some of the robots in the game. It's not even really a revolution, it's literally just "we need to open the walled city" and that's it, and the cat needs it open to get out.

The cat also doesn't directly talk to the denizens of the Dead City - he has a little translator buddy that helps him communicate, and when said translator isn't there you can't talk to them. It's not too much of a stretch IMO for a cyberpunk game set hundreds of years after the end of humanity to have a cat translator AND a cat that seems smarter than our modern cats given the centuries of development the species would have had.

People getting this upset about it having more of a plot than just "cat game" makes me laugh though.

IIRC it was the writers that said that, and the directors said the opposite - that Cap went to an alternate timeline and lived out his life with Peggy, presumably stopping Hydra early, saving Bucky, etc. Then had someone send him back once he was old. He'd still have his device so it's not outside the realm of possibility that the other timeline's Tony could just use it to figure out when/where to send him to.

I think the directors version makes more sense with how time travel works in the movie.

Eventide is great, one of the best parts of the game.

The combat shrines were my favorite method of weapon acquisition. The enemies within respawn after blood moons so once you get the hang of them they're a great place to farm and restock.
