"The Constitution lists only three qualifications for the Presidency the President must be at least 35 years of age, be a natural born citizen, and must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years. "

While there are some questions regarding what actually constitutes a natural born citizen, it mostly revolves around requirements of the parents citizenship, they all agree on having to be born on US soil.

They have been an Oddworld style juggernaut For awhile.
I'm not saying they weren't popular, I'm just saying our's never had the same impact on traffic as they do now and the volume of people I see waiting at the drive thru seems more than what I would expect just because the indoor dining is closed.

ParanoidObsessive posted...
Where exactly are you?

I don't think I've ever seen traffic at a Chik-Fil-A that was more appreciable than any other fast food place. At least not so much that I've even remotely seen it affecting traffic as a whole. But maybe you're in a more rural area with worse roads where it shows up more. Or maybe your area is more culturally motivated to eat tons of Christian-endorsed chicken. Or maybe some other factor.
The lines for the ones around here are insane. There is one I drive by fairly often that shares a parking lot with a gas station/convenience store and the drive through line routinely raps around the building and obstructs both driveways into the gas station. It splits into two lines at one point and they have people with tablets going down both lines taking orders to try and keep up.

I honestly don't know why they have turned into such an issue, they weren't like this prior to the pandemic, at least around here. I know their indoor dining is still closed but they were never that big in the first place and I would assume turned customers around more slowly than the drive through. I'm curious to see if their sales have actually increased during the pandemic, like people saw the crowds and figured it must be good so they got in line too.

So this effectively added no time to his sentence. Explains why he accepted the plea.

Well Genshin is a unique case I remember people being hyped as fuck when it came out, I heard stuff like Breath of the Wild but with Gacha or the first big time AAA game on Mobile. You have to remember when Candy Crush hit the scene it wasn't some huge game changer it was Bejeweled sorta but with a few unique changes.

Genshin was one of the most hyped Mobile games I have ever seen and to be fair their Waifu factor is off the charts, Genshin has some of the best looking characters in all of gaming. Even if you think Waifu shit is dumb millions around the globe care about it a lot.
Right, but this is a Diablo game so it isn't exactly an unknown franchise that nobody knew about. That is why I went with GI...well that and because I don't follow mobile games so I didn't really know anything else to compare it with.

In the world of mobile games they don't always hit peak profitability early on, Candy Crush for instance was making a lot more on their game years down the line then they did in their first year.

Mobile is nothing like normal video games where typically most of the sales will come in the first month or so.
That can be the case, but it isn't always. That October 2020 figure for Genshin is the most profitable month overall. September 2021 and January 2022 are close but the rest are substantially lower. The other thing to consider is downloads. Diablo is estimated at 8.5 million downloads over the same period that it earned 24 million. Genshin Impact had 6 million downloads for the two days of September 2020 it was out and 18 million for October. Again, that second month is the highest by far with every month since then averaging around 5-6 million.

So I think what will be telling is what the next month's numbers look like.

The thing is, is $24 million actually a lot? Like if you look a Genshin Impact, it earned $14.24 million for September 2020, despite launching on 9/28. October 2020 it made $175.91 million. Now they don't list out what regions it was available in at that time and we know that Diablo isn't in China yet, but that is still a SUBSTANTIAL difference in earnings between the two.

Figures are from App Magic, which is the same source quoted for Diablo so it should be fairly apples to apples as far as that goes.

I'm not saying it won't end up making them money, but currently we just have one month without a lot of context as to how it compares to other games.

I went to Marine Land in Canada when I was 12 and they unsafely let me on a Rollercoaster where I proceeded to pass out and almost slip from the harness to my death. I have a little perspective here. It took me a few years to be able to go to an amusement park after that.
When I was little I rode on a coaster with my dad that just had a single lap bar across both riders. Well when one of the riders is a grown adult and the other is a scrawny 8 year old, that bar isn't going to do anything to restrain the kid. We went down the first hill and into a turn and I slid right under the bar and onto the floor of the car...scared the bejesus out of my dad.

Could be oil price related.

Plastic is a petroleum product. If oil prices rise, plastic prices theoretically rise, and thus things made mostly out of plastic would potentially become more expensive.

Plus, there's the general reason why pretty much everything is becoming more expensive right now - rising oil prices mean higher gas prices, which means increase cost for shipping supplies and finished products, which increases the overhead and leads to prices going up.
I mean that all may play a role but I think a lot of it is that rather than selling it as a toy to kid's parents they are selling it to adults with more disposable income as nostalgia/collectibles.
