Ill probably stop Faith at 25, seems like all the cool spells I want are 25 or below. Maybe slow down on Stamina too around 25. Dex/Vigor/Mind you want a lot of though I think, more sword damage, health, and FP?

Or would it be best to just stop Dex at 20 and go all in on Faith? I heard you can get samurai swords that scale with Faith instead of Dex? So many options ugh

Yeah I am just about to head to the first main castle at the end of the beginning area, probably 20 hours in. Im using a map though to find everything, would have taken twice as long to do the exploration myself

I wouldnt worry about the doctor and what they think, this is America. Most patients are told they need to lose weight and eat healthier to fix their symptoms, and then they show up a few months later with the same issue, 5 lbs heavier and 0 change to their diet. The doctors are used to it.

Like, seriously, people hold sports on this pedestal like they're engraved in our DNA. Sports aren't inherently real. We made them up. Like the boogeyman. Or money. We can decide what the fuck we do with them and there's no divine providence that says we can't decide how (or why) we choose to segregate sports the way we do. It's fucking arbitrary. If you really care about "fairness" and "competition" in your made up games, then pick a new arbitrary method of separating people that doesn't pretend that trans people don't exist. It's because those are extremely male-dominated fields that tend to be quite hostile towards women, and they are very strongly stereotyped as male jobs, both of which dissuade women from entering the field - or persuade them to leave.

Anecdotally, an enby friend of mine burnt out of chemistry because most chemistry work is just rote chemical production they find no joy in and most of their coworkers misgendered them relentlessly for years. Chanda, being agender, gripes about the same dynamic in her book.

So weird that men decided to gatekeep and discriminate against women so much in Engineering, but let women take over other strongly stereotyped male dominated fields. Med School is now 53% female, Law School is now 54% female. So strange.

Same, the site of grace places are not that obvious at all, and some points of interest don't even have one period. The exploration in this game definitely seems a bit more difficult than Breath of the Wild, where they made it pretty obvious that "Hey, there is something here." A lot of the hidden caves and catacombs in Elden Ring have entrances tucked away in corners or behind pillars that I probably never would have found on my own

Oh then I'm definitely not done, I didn't find the boss. I think I just got lost on the ramparts (is that the correct word) then found the camping site behind the castle. So I need to reclear everything.. lol

I am probably doing the wimp way, but I pretty much look up the guide for every dungeon I do, just to make sure I clear everything. I also pull up the spoiler map online for each area to make sure I hit every dungeon lol I don't feel like running around every cliff side wondering if there is a dungeon there or not

Ah nice, that is how my stock has worked at public companies, a bit vests every year, fully vested in 3. Is there any way for you to convert a stock (once it vests) in a private company into cash that you can spend though?

No, the value is defined somehow, periodically. Some 3rd party entity does an assessment.

I fucking hate these green imp things in the beginning dungeons, by far my least favorite enemy to fight so far, they ambush you and they hit like a truck. Toughest boss I have fought so far was the cat statue guy w/ 4 of those imps around him. God forbid one of the imps gets a hit on me, then I am in a stagger animation and another imp comes and finished me off. Or I am fighting the imps and the damn cat just lands on me and one shots me.

Also even at my leanest I had at least double that bf%. I definitely never got below 8% and it was typically closer to or a little above 10.

190 lbs a little over 10% bf is still really impressive, I am jealous. 5'9" also, I was the heaviest I have ever been last fall at 186 lbs and I was like 18% bf. I am gonna start prepping for a show in April and I'm barely 165 at 11% bf now. It is men's physique tho, so size isn't nearly as important as proportions/definition

I never managed to hit 200. It was nearly impossible to maintain anything above 195 no matter how much I ate. ALso I was training 5 times a week with my buddy who was a former bodybuilder and strength coach and may or may not have done a few rounds of test. lol.

Also thats definitely not mr olympia size. Unless youre telling me yoel romero, paulo costa, rousimar palhares, etc etc could compete at mr olympia. Hell Sidney Crosby is 200lbs at 5'11" and he doesnt even look remotely big at all aside from his legs.

I was talking about the Natural Mr. Olympia, who are way smaller than the regular Olympia folks who take PEDs who can get all the way to 280 lbs w/ 4 or 5% bodyfat.

This guy just won Mens Physique at the natural Olympia in 2021 for example, and he is 5' 10" 162 lbs in these photos when he competed:

Granted he is probably 4% bodyfat there, extremely low. In the off season though I bet he is still under 190 lbs at 10% bf

Compare that however to Chris Bumstead who won the same category at the regular Mr. Olympia, he is 6' 1" and 235 lbs at the same bf%, just an absolute house of a human.

I could definitely lose a decent bit of weight before I lost any muscle mass, but by 20lbs Id definitely be cutting into muscle mass unless I was at some absurd bf% like 5% or something which cant even safely be maintained.

200 lbs, sub 10% body fat at 5' 9" without steroids is world class natural Olympia size. Even with a ton of PED's this would be hard to achieve lol

Meat is a red herring. Even disregarding the substantive waste and overproduction that has nothing to do with actual individual consumer demand, the simple fact of the matter is is that where people get their food from don't have enough diverse choices that actually compete with the worst options.

If all you have access to is Walmart Ground beef or McDonald's, you either cobble together what non-beef meal you can or you get whats actually available.

This is why food deserts and culinary education are such big problems, because for a lot of people, even in the most well off parts of the first world, their choices are already picked for them before they get to the store, and if they dont have the means to pick the more laborious option (that 99% of the time is the better nutritional choice), then they don't actually have choices.

You can absolutely only shop at Walmart and still have a healthy diet, wtf is this post lol

Body fat % is a lot better metric than BMI, but unless you have taken steroids I highly doubt it is muscle mass that is pushing you to 190 lbs at 5' 9". you could lose 20 lbs and still retain all your muscle.
