there is a huge difference between cheating in a ranked based game and cheating in an tournament with a cash prize.

furthermore, once you admit to cheating you lose all your credibility when it comes to competing. People in other organizations/sports/etc wouldve preemptively banned him on that admission alone.

Niemann qualified for the tournament, was allowed to play, and passed all checks for any possible cheating equipment. Carlsen joined a tournament where a player with that history is allowed to play and compete for a win.

At that point, Niemann's prior disciplinary record is moot. He is innocent until proven guilty. Carlsen would not have thrown a fit had he collected an easy win against Niemann.

If you don't know, the chess world champion lost to a weaker player in a tournament because he got called on using a rare but unsound variation. He quit the tournament and then stoked cheating conspiracies by vagueposting on Twitter.

Toast was semi-fine as long as you didn't disagree or argue with him about _anything_, then he turned into one of the most insufferable people on the planet.

• Hench chick, who absolutely mogs about 90% of the men on every lift, and is very sweet and quiet. I suspect she's a rugby player, she's in incredible shape.
• Absolute unit. This guy comes in every so often and must weigh at least 300lbs, built like a strongman. Saw him casually repping out 485lbs for reps of 6 on bench the other day. It's a health/fitness centre so we don't get many guys like this. I'm sure they're a dime a dozen in strongman gyms.
• Calf guy. Just walking around with calves looking like the ham roasts you'd see on Tom & Jerry, and yet I've never see him train them
• Absolute fiendish instagram baddie. I can't even explain how bad this chick is. I'm sure if she has an instagram she has 2m followers and an onlyfans where simps pay money for pictures of her in sweatpants. One of them baddies. It's very hard not to look at her when she comes in, and I see every other guy suffering the same problem. Respect women and all that but it's fucking hard when they walk in looking like that
• 6% bodyfat PT. I have no idea what his actual bodyfat is but I've never seen someone so lean all the goddamn time. He's not even big. Just veins and the most hollow face I've ever seen. If there was a 100lb male bodybuilding contest category he'd be it
• Tall girl. She be 6ft2 and doing crossfit shit every day, but didn't bother to join a crossfit gym
• Really obese guy doing intense cardio every day. I want to tell this guy he's a badass and to keep going but that would just be patronising. But he's routinely one of the hardest working people at the gym, I can see it
• Guy who wears gloves and only ever does bench press. This guy is a curious case. He seems like a guy who would have a knife collection.

I dont get why the hunters dont expose all the monsters and ghosts and shit nation wide.

If every human knew the truth and were given free reign to slaughter the monsters, they would be exterminated in weeks.

2. Joe Bloggs finds out they are frauds and asks them what they're really up to. "Well uh, we're ghost hunters basically, and you're being haunted by a demonic spirit" or whatever.

4. Joe Bloggs then encounters evidence of the ghost and then immediately accepts their version of events. "oh, so you guys were telling the truth. Monsters are real. What now?"
