I've gotten way more communication errors after the patch that "fixed" frequent communication errors

The survivors have to collect keys to power a time machine that will let them escape and the raider wants to kill them all. The raider can destroy the time machine so they are forced to use a shittier time machine as a last resort. Survivors can use items and abilities to hide, travel quickly, or slow down the raider, and can temporarily transform into fighters from the show. If enough of them work together to attack the raider they can actually kill it too, I believe.

There have been closed beta tests where players were allowed to record gameplay, so you can find videos on youtube of full matches.

Doesnt the difficulty level actually alter puzzle design in the Silent Hill games? Or at least a few of them? (I recall hearing of some Shakespeare play-related puzzle that is a nightmare on higher difficulties in one of the games) For a speed run where you already have the solutions memorized it doesnt make that much difference in terms of skill but they would probably be counted as separate categories if there are changes in the tasks you have to do

If the exploding arrows spread ink further than the initial impact it might be at least something, but as is I don't really see the point. Cant say I have super specific tips for any given island, since which Vek will appear at each island are randomized. The one thing I would say is that you can see what the boss Vek will be before you select the island. The ice island has a unique one (the robot) which you should avoid choosing as your first boss because it will be likely impossible to defeat without damage boosts from reactor upgrades.

Pay attention to ice tiles, if you damage them twice they turn into water which you can use for easy kills. If you dont have non-damaging means of moving enemies, avoid the missions with the defend the robots objectives.

Since youre early you may not know this yetif you complete every objective on every battle on an island, you will receive a bonus reward after finishing the island. For this reason I would say that completing objectives should generally take priority over avoiding grid damage. Sometimes this may mean avoiding a map with an objective you dont think you can clear (often the train mission is this for me)
