If/when you watch the prequels, the Star Wars Clone Wars 2D micro-series can be watched in-between 2 and 3. It covers a bit of the gap, and the end of it directly leads into 3. It's also incredible.

Enough of it is written with the expectation that the audience already has seen Episode 3 that I dont recommend watching it before that.

as for part 2, I was totally expecting that Devil to be the Traffic Devil since she had hesitated to cross the street and it was sitting on top of the crossing signal. Nothing about it suggested war to me lol

From her video and the wording of the Cover announcement it sounds like they probably wanted more from her than she was willing to give after her other duties and her injury. I'm guessing they decided to not renew the contract after year 1 ended
