I think most people I talked to when the game came out did the Zora stuff first, myself included. It's a very logical starting point.

If you have any interest in watching someone else's experience going through Outer Wilds, Vinny from Vinesauce has an incredibly entertaining playthrough of it, and Materwelonz's is very thought-provoking and insightful. Would highly recommend.

Oh, I was wondering where the Outer Wilds discussion came from. You must've quoted a certain someone in your #8 post and some people can't see it.

One of the NFL's official podcasts on their own website, Around the NFL, had a Browns fan on it who has completely revoked his fandom. They were wondering how easy it would be for him to stick with that decision, but he's said as the preseason has started, it's actually been easier than he thought. It's just been kind of a relief, more than anything.

I love how Al himself is in it, just as some executive instead of himself. That's so perfect. Hopefully this makes up for the fact that I have to miss his concert on Thursday from COVID.

That screenshot for Boktai had me staring at it for a few seconds to try and not see a head-person wearing really long, red, skinny jeans.

I think it's a 4/10 at absolute maximum.

It's only notably different in that progression is SUUUUUPER slowed down and locked behind gacha items. Every character now also has stat buffs that you can get as cards, on top of the different rarities that you needed, like in V3. So you still need to get the R, S, and U versions of them like before, but if you don't have those stat boosts, you're not gonna be able to power through more than about half the turn-based battle part of the game.

In fact, there's a specific upgrade that will break your stat cap from 255 to 999 that is just as rare as getting a U card, that every U is basically only as good as an S without. How rare is that? A whopping 0.2% on the only grindable currency.

So in order to make an endgame team, you need, AT MINIMUM, four characters where you have both their U card, and their attribute cap break, at 0.2% apiece. And there are 62 characters in the game. Ideally, you'd want 4 of a certain type that specialize in healing/buffing, preventing damage, dealing magic damage, and dealing physical damage. But good fucking luck with getting that. So the game lets you straight-up buy upgrades. From the eShop. For money.

I booted up my game to check, and I have 45 hours played with 13 U cards and 7 stat cap breaks unlocked, and only one of them match. The content itself is... fine, I guess, though a bit fanservice-y, but you can tell there was very little effort put into it. No new voice acting, no more dungeon crawling (it's all just set battles one after the other). It's just really aggravating how much I hate about it.

I used to manage inventory with a guy in his house in rural Kansas for over 100 Boost Mobile stores throughout Oregon, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Texas for a business HQ'd in Wichita, ran by my boss's brother. It was weird. After a few years, they realized there wasn't much point in me going to the other guy's house because he ordered phones while I checked receipts, so I got a laptop and just worked from home for a while.

Then as time went on, it seemed like someone was getting into the CEO's ear about us not doing things accurately? Or that he needed a different group to come and and manage it all because I kept losing more and more responsibilities to the point I was only working about 15 hours a week. When I was looking for somewhere else to go, the CEO's brother I worked for called me and told me they were letting me go. He seemed really upset that they led me on for so long and that he really didn't want to, but his brother made him.

The very next week, he called me back and told me I wasn't alone; that jackass fired him too, after saying for longer that I'd even been there that he was so proud that this was basically a family business and that as long as he wanted, he would always have a job there.

Holy shit, I just googled the name of the business out of sheer curiosity, and they filed for bankruptcy 3 years ago. Guess that explains a lot...

F-Zero GX is my 4th favorite game of all-time, and wow our track preferences couldn't be much more different. My favorite track is Multiplex and my least favorite is Slim-Line Slits.

1,519 holes into Golf on Mars and I just now learn that there's a spin mechanic. OK.

As we're getting more votes in, the percentages are closing in, but the margin is actually still increasing. It's now a 160k gap.

Polling indicated that 47% planned to vote yes, 43% planned to vote no, and 10% were undecided.

That's the reason I never finished P3. It got the party wiped a good half-dozen times, and the last time it happened was totally egregious and like an hour into a dungeon dive.

Obviously now it's The Looker.

Yeah, that was it. I had that 5-mana arena card that discovered a spell and discounts it by 5-mana, and it generated a Phylactery for me, and it hit 4 minions. The one on the right actually still has the deathrattle, so it only got 4 buffs instead of the 5, but as you can see from my health total, I couldn't afford to wait anymore.

Anyway, this run didn't go so bad for starting off 0-2.....

One of the funniest parts of this is that it triggered every single Warrior arena win achievements: for 3 wins, 4, all the way up to 12, since I just started playing again. Another weird aspect of this run was that I dealt the last tick of damage to my opponent through fatigue three times out of those, once to another warrior, and twice to warlocks who had the spell that destroyed cards in the deck for every minion killed.

There's a streamer I follow that never even played it, but did a lot of visual novel stuff, like Ace Attorney and Danganronpa. Whenever the phrase "among us" came up in dialogue, the chat would explode into

It was so bad, they had to put chat into emote only for several minutes to get over themselves. I didn't think it was all that funny at first, but in the weeks since, it's become kind of a game of chicken. The first people will just be like "chat pls" and "don't do it" and a few people here and there will just say "amogus" in lower case and see how much they can do it without getting silenced or the chat destroyed, and for some reason, it's become the funniest fucking thing to me.

I came back. Kept watching Dane ever since I quit, and I got the itch so bad I downloaded it again. I have absolutely no idea what the state of Standard is, so I don't know what the hell I'm playing around in every matchup, but I've still had pretty good success with a Reno Quest Priest.

Did some arena as well, and I'd like to pose this screenshot and see if anyone can figure out how this happened.

Thought of Bennett from Genshin Impact. Considering his whole schtick is that things fuck up all around him, I would just get really depressed, really quickly.

I would if there was one near me that wasn't a nightmare to get to.
