I loved the concept behind this one. Showing the stylized, Hollywood idea of how an assassin works first, only to have a small vent completely ruin that idea and cause the would-be assassin to get stuck and die was a clever twist. Cleverer was having the assassins corpse fire off the fatal shot and finish the job. A good start to the second film, for sure.

Ohhhh so that's what happened. I like this one even more now.

Id think if Switch was coming theyd have listed it in their press announcement. Could still possibly happen, but I dont really see why they would exclude it just to wait for Nintendo to announce its coming to Switch

Hasn't something similar happened before with a Castlevania collection (or something similar)?

Either way, I could totally see Nintendo wanting to keep a lid on the news until their next Direct. And from Atlus' perspective, delaying the Switch announcement creates a buzz as people speculate about whether the games will appear on Switch.

Man, you almost forgot how bad amateur acting can be in the second movie. Like, it was front and center in the first one but somehow here, things feel more competent. N is for Nexus helps to remind you that bad actors still exist, and theyre still here to ruin film and eveythign you hold dear. This whole cast is atrocious and the dad at the end who loses his kid reacts like someone just told him that they dont have Coke and is Pepsi ok. This is also some of the worst camera work in the second movie. I have no clue why the the one guy is filmed with the camera pointing directly towards him from his waist, but either that was the director and he didnt trust any one else with the camera or the director had just done some bath salts that were left over from M is for Masticate and thought this was a good idea. Every single shot in this is bad. Its impressive. Every single shot is worse than what you could do right now. Yes, you! You reading this. Do you want to be a director? This film should inspire you because youd do a better job than this guy. Im not even sure this guy is a director I half suspect he collected the $5000 just so he could film a girl he liked topless and then realized he was going to jail for fraud if he didnt tack something on at the end of it. The only slightly clever thing is the word search is the answer for what the letter N is, but thats the only thing. The entire short is entirely predicatable as soon as Frankenstein steps outside, and you have a couple of minutes of dialogue you dont want to hear from actors you dont want to watch just to see the thing that was telegraphed for you as soon as the short started.

This was easily my favorite write up so far. I was in stitches after the Coke/Pepsi remark and in tears after the bath salts one. Well done, sir. Somehow you made me laugh harder than the actual short.

Agreed. I can appreciate pretty much any short in this lineup outside of WTF and Miscarriage, which were both lazy and uninspired IMO. Even Zetsumetsu (which I ranked dead last) has its redeeming qualities.

Smell that? It's the breezy odor of Inviso collecting $500 and making it onto the leaderboard!

I can't believe over half of the rankers put Fart in their top half. Although at the same time, I'm actually kind of surprised I'm the highest at 7th...I almost thought there'd be someone who would have it as their #1. But it seems that regardless of the position, everyone agreed that it was memorable and dumb!

Yeah, it was hard to rank for me as well. On one hand it's undeniably unique and memorable. Can't take that away from it. But the humor didn't click with me, so I had to rank it in my bottom 10.

What a bloodbath haha. I think that 1 has three remaining matchups it should easily win. The others are either toss-ups or in 2's favor.

I mean its safe but not really like in a good way. Its one of those middling ones I wouldve been surprised with people liking a lot.

I thought Apocalypse was pretty funny, especially with the deadpan way the husband looks at her while she's beating him senseless. I can see why others criticized the acting, but I found it comedic.

Also surprised it dropped this early, but like Suprak said, this one is hard to love.

So this guy is laying in bed and then his wife comes in and starts randomly stabbing him before revealing that that she had been slowly poisoning him but had to do it quicker because the world is ending. Because hey, he just might survive being blown to atoms by nuclear fire, you never know.

It was excellent. Plays like a cross between Ys VIII and Arkham City. Story was surprisingly great as well. I'd highly recommend starting it on Hard mode if you played VIII.

Anyway, I'm thrilled that X is happening. If Japan gets it in 2023, we might get it as early as 2024.
