There isn't much to it, but I do appreciate any game's ability to convey emotion without dialogue and that's what this pulls off with the last boss in particular.

Yeah, to be fair, I had never heard of Scott Lang, but I did know of Hank Pym.

It's 2 of the Mega Man Classic games, although 9's is close.

Yeah, I've been dealing with it recently. I've been wanting a second controller for a while now anyway, so I might just get one and save the other as a backup.

I don't feel like there's much for Duck Hunt to "hold up" to. It's just a point and shoot game with no substantial depth to it.

I'm sure I would still hate the dog if I were to play it today.

regardless this first episode was probably meant to be mostly fanservice (particularly with Ruffalo's inclusion) so I don't know that it'll continue with that tone

I don't think it was meant to be a huge twist ending that Captain America isn't a virgin and Jen isn't meant to represent hardcore MCU fans

She-Hulk Episode 1 complete!

Pretty solid as an intro episode, had some Deadpool vibes to it. The chemistry between the two Hulks was really good, although I'd be surprised if Mark Ruffalo is around for too much more of this show, unfortunately.

Just finished first episode of She-Hulk. The chemistry between Jen and Bruce was really good, so it makes me sad we aren't going to get much more of it.

Nah, I'd disagree. Its level design is still iconic and memorable. There's value in its simplicity.

I don't think the overlap between Xenosaga and Xenoblade is all that high, or at the very least, I don't think people who started with Xenoblade went back and played Xenosaga (mostly because they're largely inaccessible today).

Even though it was total whiplash from the tone of the first game, I enjoyed the darker atmosphere of this one, and more than anything, I give the story a lot of credit for just totally abandoning Jak as a silent hero, something most series that have started out with silent heroes have still yet to do.

yeah I have no confidence in Xenosaga being worth anything, the popularity of KOS-MOS is a lot more about design than the popularity of Xenosaga

Stranger Things Season 4 Episode 6 complete!

I swear, if they kill off Steve here, I will not be happy with this show. I'm assuming Nancy will show up to save the day just in time as a long redemption payoff for not being able to save Barb back in season 1, or at least that's what had better happen...!

Well, you have to hit a certain number of "points" to actually be able to broker peace, and the points are determined by choices you've made regarding the geth and the quarians in 2 and 3.

That being said, there's a decent bit of leeway in the point system, so even if you make a "wrong" choice or two, it shouldn't stop you.

The choice with the heretics does matter, just not in the way you might expect

yeah they really make it difficult to sympathize with the quarians in ME3

art is never appreciated in its own time

Xenoblade 2 is expected to get 61.12% on FFXV in the GotD2 X-Stats

even if you account for the Witcher 3 rally in the final, it's still a pretty handy victory for XB2

I really like the storytelling method of telling the story from multiple perspectives. They don't all work (looking at you, Big), but I enjoy the buildup and the payoff in an awesome final battle with Chaos.
