To be fair, the first 30 minutes are the worst 30 minutes. If it wasn't for Ryuk, I would have done the same.

If they don't fix the gameplay issues, you can forget it.

There are quite a few nitpicks throughout the whole movie the homework Light does in the beginning is missing two answers and the paper itself looks to be thick enough to have an extra page, the train the cartel members leap in front of is knocked over somehow, no one noticing Watari is missing until day two or close to it, the police not tapping Light's phone, etc, the pacing is predictably too fast, Light is a bit more angsty than I would like, the ending has at least three loose ends, the death note has a few different rules than the one in the anime (not an issue, it just threw me off), and Mia's performance after the first act is hella dry.

That said, Light, L, Light's dad, and of course Ryuk were all solid. It was okay but clearly should have been at least around 2 hours and lacks those "Jesus! That's clever!" moments that made the anime so easy to watch...until the halfway mark.

If people think KFC is bland (I personally don't see how, but whatever), then they should really stay away from King's, Tyler's, possibly Miami Made if it's not immediately fresh, Splendid Event (which is just as well; their hours are terrible), Country BBQ, and Wings n Things, although everything else from them is solid.

Avoid the sweet tea tho'. That, unlike the chicken, is undeniably overrated.

Vegeta probably knows more, what with exploring the universe, being a prince, and being married to quite possibly the smartest person in the universe. But Piccolo is undeniably better at actually using knowledge.

Better than the naked chicken or a raw potato, that's for sure. But I'd rank 2 points below a chalupa. The rice doesn't really compliment and there's too much of it to boot. Should be called the shredded rice burrito.

We may dogshit Florida, but Alabama is worse in every way. Sales tax is, like, 9%, eggs are $1.50 a dozen, it's either the lowest or bottom 3 in academics, and somehow has worse drivers than Georgia.

The only upside is the cheap gas.
