From my experience, WoW, tanks are much less useful in PvP. The name of the game in PvP is large and fast damage.

Humans know to just avoid the tank until everyone is dead, then out dps them. Tanks primarily are useful in pve because they have the ability to keep mobs pulled and not doing damage to the others.

at least in games that are intended to have functional PvP (can't speak for WoW), tanks typically will have a variety of area-control skills that prevent DPS characters from being able to target anyone but them.

In 5e, for example, they have the sentinel and mage slayer feats. PvP in DnD is pretty rare, but it supports it and sentinels' opportunity attacks set opponent speed to 0 on a hit; mage slayers impose disadvantage on enemy casters' concentration saves.

companies like glassdoor and salary.com make it readily apparent.

this new availability of data is also driving why millenials typically bail on their employers after 5 years. because employers deliberately do not keep up raises with their employees' market worth, even if they pay new employees the market rate.

fundamentally: employers are fucking their workers to improve bottom line, and the difference now is workers know it and are acting in their own self interest.

It's not, but they literally tell you in Driver's Ed that it doesn't matter. If there's people on the road and you can not hit them, you are legally required to not hit them. You absolutely cannot run over people "just because".

This is the key. In theory, these bills would not prevent this, but in practice, they introduce a very high new burden of proof on the prosecution for the drivers in automobile accidents that kill protesters.

I would not be as concerned if it were a general bill about such accidents, but the specific call-out to street protesters is sending an intentional message: "We will not protect you"

Unfortunately, the principal driver of debt among the present generation of job-seekers is typically not consumer debt, but student loans.

Also, it's not really that there's too many Americans going after too few jobs. There are plenty of jobs. But many employers create massively mismatched requirement/salary requirements in order to deliberately get no viable applications, and then turn around and use this as justification to seek foreign visa hires.

Globalization hurts that specific subset of the workforce. Harvard's elephant chart does a fine job of illustrating it.

The value of something is whatever someone's willing to pay. So, if you're not getting the offers you want at the pay you want that should tell you something.

this is equally true for capital as it is for labor. we are discussing a trade in which neither party is willing to budge on their terms.

Now, I've never been in this situation, but couldn't you just slowly drive through them? You're in a vehicle, they're not going to be able to stop you. Just keep inching forward. Unless someone crawled under your car, it doesn't seem likely to hurt anyone.
