Has anyone seen Unfriended?

I remember when I first saw the trailer I said immediately it was going to be the worst movie of the year. Then I completely forgot about it.

But recently my co-worker says he saw it for the second time this week and it's possibly the worst movie he's ever seen.

Now I'm curious.

It has a 1/4 on Rogerebert.com but a 62% on RT. I have no idea what to expect

It goes by their first appearance in a specific media. Originally comic characters weren't included, but that led to people being upset over things like Gotham characters being excluded (despite the fact that some, Cobblepot especially, were drastically different than their source).

Overall I think this way is kind of better, but it's still flawed. In particular, the rule let in Civil War's Spider-Man, who made it to third, and Deadpool, who won.

Deadpool was a tricky situation, because he did technically appear in the film universe before, but since the 2016 Deadpool film is nothing like Origins Wolverine (and is not the same character in the film universe canon) he Still got in

Even after running all of these there's still no clear right answer to how to handle it imo.

For instance, I think Cobblepot should be included but Spider-Man shouldn't, but there's no fair way to make a rule about that

Deadpool > Ellie > Oberyn > Mike > Ralph > Furiosa > Louise

I like Louise (and everyone on Bob's Burgers really) but she's still the onl,y winner that kind of baffles me. She beat every Game of Thrones character premiering in S1, including Dany, Arya, Tyrion, Drogo, Hodor and The Hound (and that's just who made it in; Jaime, Cersei, Jon, Ned, etc. weren't even contenders). That's the one year where I feel like if it was run again, the results would be drastically different. 2011's finals only had 13 voters as opposed to this year's 33.

Just finished the game and I want somewhere to talk about it, and didn't want to fill the other Life is Strange topic with spoilers. I'll keep this initial post spoiler-tagged just in case, but from here on out: SPOILERS, BE WARNED.

Big things first with that ending:
-Who is the woman in white? She definitely seems important, aside from banging Rachel's dad. Non-chalantly smoking in a wildfire.
-Speaking of the wildfire, great fucking job Dontnod at hinting toward that wildfire the whole time. It sat in the back of my mind the whole time, but not in a way that made me actually expect that.
-Is Rachel supernatural? Like the fire was easily explained, but when she screamed... something was happening. I'm not sure what, but I feel like there's something powerful going on with her

Currently about halfway through (if the graffiti is to be believed). Last one I got was Drama Nerds.

While I wouldn't say it's better than Life is Strange, it's definitely on par with it. I miss the time powers, but not having them doesn't hurt the game at all. Chloe's new voice was hard to get the hang of (partially because I'm a big fan of Ashly Burch, and partially because the new voice actually sounds older than when Burch was voicing her, despite the character being younger.

Beyond that, it feels exactly like Life is Strange, in a good way. I find myself making choices a little more recklessly than I would've with Max, just because it feels more natural. The new characters being introduced all seem solid (in particular, playing DnD with Steph and Mikey was so much fun and really emphasized Chloe as a fun and lovable character instead of just a bratty teen.

I almost want to say the relationship being built between Chloe and Rachel feels rushed (which maybe it is given the fewer episodes) but it doesn't feel wrong, really. It's very similar to how Chloe just pulled Max into a completely new life, and really brings in reflections of her character from the original game.
Here's hoping they keep this up; its really good.

If it was gonna happen, it would've happened when he had the Stone disease. One touch to her and she'd have been fuuuuucked.

It was time to discard Littlefinger. He got progressively sloppier the worse his hard-on for Sansa got, and I think we all knew his ability to achieve his goals had come to an end. His Sansa obsession left him out of touch with the entire rest of the plot.

Also I don't get the hype for Cleganebowl anymore. The Mountain hasn't done anything really in quite a long time and is still doing the oath of silence he took, if you believe that. He went from being a super interesting character to... a zombie in the worst sense.

At this point, I think I'd most want to see Cleganebowl as a non-Canon special feature. There's not much left of the real Gregor Clegane, and Hounds confrontation with him in the finale proves that. The Hound as we know him now has no reason to try for revenge on what is essentially the empty husk that used to be his brother

I disagree. Theon's arc is on a lot more personal scale than many of the other characters

I think a fitting end for his arc would be him saving Yara, and then going to fight (and almost definitely die) alongside Jon as Yara works on taking back the kingdom.

Theon doesn't need to kill a King or anything that big; he just needs to overcome his PTSD to save his family imo

Not necessarily the worst, but the one that failed to meet your expectations the worst.

For me, it was TimeShift. It was one of my first PS3 games and I was really excited for it, but it was boring as hell. I never got far in it because it was so unenjoyable to play.

It especially sucked because I bought it with money I had gotten from trading a bunch of much better PS2 games

From the small amount I've looked, no. I'm personally hoping for the 8-10 week schedule LiS managed between episodes

I'd imagine that's accurate. That would lead to the 2nd episode released in late October and the 3rd released around Christmas/New Years, which I feel would make sense.

apparently the shoes the bee-yoch girl is wearing are the same as the killer's at the end of the trailer
