Punisher, Iron Man, Thor and Edward Norton Hulk are the last I've really enjoyed. Different strokes I guess. Dr Strange was a nice attempt but turning a Sorcerer into a ninja lost my interest for someone that read the comics of the 70's. But hey Marvel is obviously doing something right for most people.

Different tastes and all but the newest Marvel movies are literally cardboard cutout formalistic popcorn movies with Michael Bay action and CGIing their way to making millions. Part of me wonders if it's because IPAs are relatively easy to make and good for all environments. Stouts aren't great on hot days.

And they are fairly bland to me. At least the few brands I've tried. I hear a lot of people say they don't like them, but to me they're just kind of meh. But I get a lighter and easy to drink beer would be better than a stout after mowing the lawn on a hot day.

I've made my seething hatred of the Trump administration clear and I would have extreme amounts of ire for him if he fucked this up. Beyond the fact that he basically tried to have a rally in Houston like a fucking dingus, he hasn't really done anything wrong.

Federal relief appears to be going well because he was smart enough to put the right people in charge to manage disaster relief, and while him trying to stroke his ego in Houston makes him a shitty person, I'd rather we have that than an Equestrian club owner in charge of FEMA like we had with Bush.

Basically: He's done fine on this. Osteen pissed me off a lot more since he only opened his church once rightfully scorned for not having done so in the first place.

Dislikes Trump's administration but can actually put forth the effort to formulate an intelligent response.

Anything that will help statistics like these (from the CDC's own website from 2012) decrease before diabetes starts killing more than cancer, aids, or any of the other epidemics humanity faces is good. Especially since Type 2 diabetes is almost 100% preventable if you take care of your body. Sugar coating the desperate need to stop obesity before it becomes diabetes doesn't help. If you don't want a friend or a loved one to be a statistic then they'll have to face their weight.

I just turned 40 and it was only two jobs ago that I realized this. My dad retired from his job (though him and my mother still operate their small business) that he started when I was in high school still. I've been working since I was 17 and the longest job I held was 7 years. Many companies don't care about employees. And I found it to be increasingly more common with corporations, rather than family owned/small business where the owners actually interact with their employees. But then that's not always the case either. Both an employee and an employer are using each other. It's just a matter of time before either party finds the other of no use for whatever reasons that party deems valid.

Probably, I liked the new TR, Iunno maybe just not a fan of Drake himself.

If you ever do decide to try the series out, you should probably start with the second game because most people seem to love that one the most

I tried TR and Uncharted 3 at the same time and while I liked the gameplay of Uncharted just fine it didn't pull me in like TR. And I've never played a TR game before. I think Lara was a vastly more relatable character than Drake who just seemed like a knock off Indiana Jones. I did like the old man that hangs with him in the story.

And for everyone who wants to make excuses for actors being shitty (the material was no good, the director sucks etc), watch the scene between Keanu and Oldman. Oldman literally putting in an all time amazing performance and Keanu putting in a GOAT shit pile of performance, in the SAME DAMN SCENE. Proof that if you're good you can make ANYTHING WORK, including and awful scene partner.

Keanu is litterally the pile of shit on top of Oldman's bar of gold. How anyone involved in that movie even thought of using him in the first place, much less the movie being released with him playing Harker is just a big "fuck you" to Stoker's character.

Getting "bent out shape" that someone thinks being with someone of the same gender once isn't 100% heterosexual is just the same as getting "bent out shape" that someone doesn't think being with someone of the same gender once isn't homosexual or bisexual. It's all pretty silly to get bent out shape about how any one person defines their own sexuality.

But in defense of the actual meanings of the words, wanting to be with a man, if you are a man, once isn't heterosexual. It's bisexual. The same as a homosexual person wanting to be with the opposite gender once.
