The problem with this, IGCD, is that Ulti is directly speaking about himself when he talks about how much he wanted a "respectful friendly environment.

Ulti is the guy who kicks everyone's puppies, then says "hey guys, as a community we have to stop kicking puppies so much" so that he can give the impression that he's in the right and doing the right thing, even though he'll still occasionally kick someone's puppy.

And then if anybody else was kicking puppies while he was, he will bury the hell out of that person to make himself look better. You can see that in the way he talked about Chris on the Scumboard for CT mafia.


Now I'm not saying you have to feel any differently about Ulti because you've had good interactions with him, and that's great. But there's no defending him to some of the rest of us because there isn't anything to defend anymore.

I completely get it and I am in no way trying to undermine how you guys feel, hence the second half of my post pointing out that he has created the perception himself. If he has truly changed, he will have to accept that its going to take more than a couple games of not behaving that way to change that perception and every time he has an outburst it is going to undermine he attempts to legitimately change.

Threatening to reveal your team is a very thin line in my opinion. If you make the threat and reveal all town as your members then you just WIFOM'd the situation. Hell even if you actually reveal your whole team the town has to WIFOM the situation. I agree that it is a play that is a little offside because it undermines the sportsmanship of the game, and if the host has a problem with the threat they should have it explicitly laid out that the threat itself will be modkillable.

I will say that this is a hard game to gauge for how good scum players are at avoiding suspicion because:

- 2nd day was a gimme lynch
- 3rd day Se7en made all the scum's job easy by basically clowning into a lynch
- 4th day red was hot shotting 'a play' so no one had to really commit to anything
- 5th day was basically scumbus + people not caring much since the game was basically over

But based on the "obv tells" pjbasis was the only one I think did particularly well as the only reason I had any suspicion of him at all was because of his weird ass claim. Now, maybe pressuring him because of said claim may have caused him to stumble a bit but yeah. (which no one did after magus flipped? I mean it's a joke sure but not even a little? Did I miss something?)

When was I obvious and what made me obvious?

How about you give yourself the opportunity to be honest with town and point out your own scummy plays.

Go back find all the posts I made about PJ being scum and post them along side all your responses. If you are town you'll have no problem being truthful about the whole thing. But considering you are scum you'll likely come back with "Nah its your job to provide proof" because its easier for scum to make town work than it is for them to fake innocence.

I feel like if PJ turns out to be scum than so I Puns. Everytime I mention my thoughts on pj as scum, puns is there to defend him, deflect for him, or downplay what I am saying about him.

So this is my third, maybe 4th, game with seven. He has been town in every game that he has played. In all of those games he has driven play much more than he has here. His responses to night kills feels like someone over acting to look like they don't know what's going on. It is just completely different than anything I have seen from him before.

Well, someone mentioned that scum would likely want to get on Ulti early, and I agree. The first three votes on him were prof, red and pj.

prof - I don't see any difference from the other times I have played with him and if my memory serves me correctly, I have only ever seen him town. Town read based on player meta.

red - first game I have been in with him, I am not sure what to think. He was on the Ulti lynch early and I don't remember his reason for unvoting but I feel it would be more indicative of town to be willing to remove a vote like that early. You know he's getting lynched. Scum might not want to do something like that in fear of taking heat as the game progresses. Town read based on in game actions.

pj - Hasn't done much to impress me. I still feel like his miller claim was actually very indicative to me as to his alignment. I'm pretty sure he has been town every time I have played with him he would just make the claim and leave. This time he stayed a while and made jokes and actually socialized. I have heard people talk about how he can be a late gamer but I think the fact that he is scum means he has all the information meaning he doesn't have to sit back and study anything. This game is about pointing out inconsistencies and polar opposite behaviour is a big one. Scum read based on player meta.

Let's be honest though the scum team would have had no problem burying Ulti there anyway. Which means there was likely more than one. Other players on that lynch.

seven - he is significantly different than the other times I have played with him. Almost as if he is trying to hard to over play his inexperience. Scum read based on player meta.

Corrik - Being slightly less abrasive than I remember him being. I can't say I can read him very well but I have seen him town and scum and I feel like his scum game is a little more out there and in your face. Town read based on player meta.
