Kyrie's been in a weird spot. Lebron was brought in when he was ~21 years old and he never had a chance to shine on his own. he's going to get that now. is he the kind of guy that can score 30 a game? he certainly seemed like it in the finals, but Kyrie has always seemed better in the playoffs than in a regular game. there's a reason that he wasn't even discussed for the all-NBA team. it'll be interesting to see if he can carry a team because he's the clear #1 on a contender now.

I don't think either. Trump is one of those guys that sees the backlash against the confederacy through the lens of political correctness/attacks on white america/etc. it's not about Lee himself at all. he probably sees the march as something that has legitimate roots and thinks the violence came from people protesting it.

yeah the thing I compared the statue thing to was pulling down hoops after a big basketball game. it just felt like pointless vandalism, only this one had some symbolic meaning (not much, it's purely reactionary to try to piss off neonazis/"white lives matter" people)

I thought about this yesterday (I live 15 minutes from Durham). I don't think I'd go just because I'm much more important to my kids than I am to a political cause. without kids, I would definitely consider a protest if something like Charlottesville came to me.

not for something like knocking over a dumb statue though.
