Then enjoy the books. The dark tower movie sucked, I didn't need to bitch about for weeks, I just kept rereading the books. Winds of winter will eventually be written and won't have the constraints of a budget to work around.

If the show isn't enjoyable, don't watch it. If it's enjoyable, than why bitch and cry for weeks like DuranOfTroll. If not explicitly stating how much time has passed is more important to you than the actual plot, you need professional help.
