She could see the dogs playing out the window, and while the incessant sound of their horseplay got really old, for the first few days she used to tell me about the dogs that got boarded. There was one lbasset hound in particular that she liked. All the dogs would run off chasing a toy or something and this dog would be the last one to arrive, lol. A good three or four seconds after the second-slowest dog. This topic is that basset hound. --- |

If you say "it is" instead of "it's" (unless for emphasis), that just makes it clear that you're trying to polish a turd. The one thing I do specifically remember blowing my mind was that both kids made the same "correction" to my paper when I talked about respect being due certain people, they both inserted a "to" after "due." Holy damn. --- |
