Synergy sports apparently does a points per possession when targeted stat along with the FG% against that player but I don't have a subscription for it.

Also stats be damned, the real shame about this MVP race is how understated both Kawhi Leonard and Isaiah Thomas are because of it. It might be that I only ever see Kawhi in his good games but every time I do watch him he looks ridiculous.

how are Westbrook's numbers better than Harden's here? Harden ahead slightly in assists and shooting, Westbrook slightly ahead in points and rebounds. the only thing that really makes Westbrook stand out is the triple double.

and for the record, I'm absolutely fine with Westbrook winning MVP - he's certainly been the most interesting player and best story of this year. I'd go with Harden though.

I'd say from those numbers Harden is marginally ahead of Westbrook on Assists and FG%. Westbrook is significantly ahead on Rebounds and Steals and somewhere in between the two on points.

Opinion based but I'd also say that if Westbrook was playing for the Rockets, he'd be ahead on assists and maaaaaybe FG%. I also could not see Harden replicating Westbrooks numbers on that OKC team.

I am more interested in how people were dicks in the past that has brought in the rule change. I can't even think what it might be!

You likely cannot do Nemesis as it requires some very distinct things to clear and you either have them or you don't.

Torments are actually difficult too but they are more of hone/bsb check than difficulty check.

Did another pull, got a Spring Xander who looks ridiculous and seems to have terrible stats.

Pulled hoping for a Camilla. Ended up with Azura. Hard to complain! Need to check her nature. Edit: +Res, -Def. Not ideal but she's still good

Also got a Catria and a dupe green dragon, I forget her name.

Never been so disappointed to get 2 OSBs

Banner 3 is pretty damn good but a lot of the relics on there people will have already pulled hard for. All 4 bursts are really really good. OSB's are only okayish though although Bartz hits weakness a lot

TGC's OSB is kind of a special case though because it doesn't just do raw damage like most OSB's.

Started Heroes recently and it's my first FE

What is the ideal way to handle duplicate characters? Feed the weaker one to the stronger one? It seems like sometime it lets me do that and sometimes it doesn't and I don't know if I just don't understand something or if I just don't know what I'm doing.

Also when someone less than five stars hits level 20, always "unlock potential" to go up a star right? Don't just keep leveling past 20 until 5 stars?

Dupes can be used to +1 a character but they have to be the same rarity. It's strongly advised you don't do this until 5* though because the +1's don't carry over on promotion from what I understand

Dupes can also be used with the inherit skills function which allows you to pass their skills to another unit but you lose the hero who passes off skills

As for promoting. There's no benefit to leveling a character past 20 for future promotion purposes (i.e. extra stats). However, feathers are incredibly sparse so you have to be selective about who you promote (it takes 20k feathers to get someone 4* to 5*). So chances are you will end up with characters way past 20 anyway because you won't ever have enough feathers to promote everyone in a timely fashion and some 3* and 4* units are still very usable so you'll want them levelled

I got a score of 2800 in arena but somehow ended up with zero defense score and unranked in the rankings. The fuck? Last week I only got like 1600 points but ended up ranked and with a defense score...

I never use my horn. I really feel you should only use it to avoid an accident.

I just saw this pull on Reddit. What the absolute fuck...

Today's the day I find out I've drafted all 78 or lower or some crap! I do not have a historically good record of drafting high rated players from the get go

Filling in my own personal spreadsheet and upon switching over my draft picks, I've just realized how good my trades ended up being.

At the last point I updated my spreadsheet I had:

Steelers 1st (20), Packers 2nd (16), Pats 2nd (19), Steelers 2nd (20), Packers 3rd (16), Pats 4th (19), Steelers 4th (20), Steelers 7th (20)

After updating it I had

Steelers 1st (20), Browns 1st (24), Miami 1st (31), Chiefs 2nd (12), Packers 3rd (16)


So after everything was said and done, I essentially paid 2x 4ths and a 7th to move up the 48th pick to the 24th, the 51st pick to the 31st and the 52nd pick to the 44th.

It is. It only hits once instead of twice and can't be honed or shattered.

It's not really an exploit if it's what I'm thinking of.

He hits like an absolute truck so by using Guts/Last Stand (whatever it's called) and damage reflect, it does a ton of DPS. It's a valid strategy for any boss with huge damage output and attacks that don't bypass Last Stand

Oh and i've just realized I won't be there for draft so let me throw together a draft list for my 3rd round pick!

Might be biased on my end because it was a need for me last 2 years but MLB's seem to have been thin the last 3 drafts. Same as guards being thin last 3 seasons (and I've needed them all 3)

Last year I took a 2nd round MLB and I'm pretty sure it was a reach there. The year before I took an MLB in the 1st which was a slight reach (I distinctly remember there being better value at the pick). And I took another in the 3rd but that wasn't a reach.

Fortunately all 3 have worked out for me (Laurinaitis 80 > 88 in 2 seasons, Tufts flipped to OLB and 75 > 86 in 2 seasons, McClain 78 > 84 in 1 season)

So I never had a copy of Wrath as I never had a reason for it. Now I think I'm going to have to make like 3 since in the last few days I've pulled Yshtola BSB, Quistis BSB and Terra OSB

Pretty much as good as I could have gotten on Player's choice!

3/11 - Terra OSB, Squall OSB, Celes Super

No dupes (Had all the BSBs). My first OSB's and I have the en-element SB's for both. Also I didn't have any form of Runic either

Well you had all my positions right, even if they were in the wrong order. And I hadn't planned on taking a DT originally as I play 3-4 and forgot how bad my backup was.

I kinda wanted to take Dez at 20 and with how many OT's there were, I probably should have since my WR1 is old and the rest of my WR's are just kinda whatever (although they are young)

I almost took a guard at #31 too since my starting guards are 35/36 and although I have backups ready to step in, I;ll need backups to them when my starting guards retire. Guard was a position I wanted to address in the 2 previous drafts but the best prospects that came through were all low rounders. I think best started at round 3 or lower in both drafts.

I maybe didn't need a QB either given I drafted one 2nd round last year and could have given him a shot. I probably would have given him a shot if he hadn't stayed static at 79 year on year. If he had gone up to like 81, I would have probably let him start

I'm lucky in that I have no debt, no kids and I don't have to pay my wife (who I separated from recently) any money. Although I did let her have the house.

I'm unlucky in that because I have money and no family in the country, I am probably going to drink years off my life dealing with it. so I'll need that early retirement!
