Save often in that game. My main gripe with Persona combat and something that unfortunately wasn't changed in P5 is that the MC dying is a game over but nothing about the combat makes this seem like a good idea, most personas have weaknesses which with the 1 more system means 1 bad encounter will leave you dead before you can act, instant kill spells are ass and homuncleus are so fucking expensive AND YOUR TEAMMATES STILL AUTOMATICALLY USE THEM IF THEY WOULD GET HIT WHY IS THIS NOT OPTIONAL STILL REEEEE so I just end up fusing a demon that nulls Phys skills with no weaknesses and using it the entire game which is no fun. nor does it make any sense in game, in normal SMTs I can see that relying on demon slaves to pick you up when you fall can be iffy but your 3 friends at full health just stand there when you die but reviving them is no big deal, its such a fucking pain. --- |
