As time go on her cloth started to shread, because age and she had to fight other monster that where thrown into that pit. Of course as I type this, this could all be a joke or something and here I come looking like the Super Serious guy,...... I mean, it probably is a joke but there IS a reason for her clothes. On the other hand you could just say that's an "excuse" to have her in clothes like that. It's totally an excuse. She's had ample time, resources, opportunity, and pragmatic motivation to buy some real clothes.
