Yes, that's why I specifically said I can't speak for video games. I don't know enough about what's going on with video games, its various communities and so on. Marvel comics on the other hand has editors, writers and comic titles pandering to SJW's, but it's not working. They don't buy comics.

I mean look at which companies they're hitting hardest: Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook... all US-based companies that have exploded into global powerhouses. That success makes them easy targets, both for seizing control and also for easy money. What the EU either fails to realize or is intentionally ignoring is that all those companies started in the US because the EU is a terrible, terrible place for innovation. It's where entrepreneurship goes to die, and attempting to stranglehold those companies into effectively being EU ones through regulation isn't going to many anything better.

I don't believe any of that. Sounds like propaganda. Everybody knows capitalism doesn't work, the US is wrong, and socialism will save us all.

I support adding as many different character models as possible, but the immersion issue will always be a concern for some other people. The big difference between you and them is where you decided to draw the line as to what you find acceptable and don't find acceptable (i.e. it's Ok for you in single player, but not in multiplayer). What I hear often is the argument that we should accept changes that don't adhere as close as possible to the setting because it's fictional anyway. It's just a game. But would those people accept a World War 2 game, for example, where the Nazis ride raptos and are the heroes or there were pink tie-fighters bombing Pear Harbor since it's all fake anyway? (On second thought, that might actually be kind of cool.)

Sarkeesian does not differentiate the two. She doesn't allow comments, rebuttals, debates or whatever. Criticism and inquiry is the same as a personal attack to her. But I believe it has to be that way or her house of cards will come falling down. She can not allow others to have their voices heard or people will start to see through her, instead of how it is now where so many of the people she takes advantage of seem to be falling over themselves to kowtow to her wants and apologize on her behalf.

Administrations change personnell all the time when the new leadership assumes command. In government, it's often the case at even lower levels of office. This was standard operating procedure before Trump and will be standard operating procedure long after he's gone. Remnants of the previous administration don't tend to stick around long, for one reason or another. Having said that, maybe Comey's firing was linked to the investigation and how it was proceeding. It's speculation though.

Wolverine, aside from Spider Man, has arguably been the most popular character in Marvel's comics for decades. The X-Men comics sold well enough for Marvel that they ran several different spin-offs for many years. If you go just by the video games, Wolverine, Sentinel and Storm frequently appeared on players' teams in tournaments. Of course the X-Men movies exist and have their fans despite those films' flaws.

It's understandable that more than a few players are upset the X-Men might go missing from this new game entirely.

I think the man was very unwise to do that. He most likely was just trying to help out, but touching someone else's kid, especially picking them up while they are resisting, would be very suspicious to a lot of people. Sadly, it would have been better to get help from other adults.
