I remember reading that Whedon originally pitched the show of "nine people looking into the blackness of space and seeing nine different things," and I always loved that we got a very literal glimpse of that with that scene. Bushwhacked definitely isn't one of the stronger episodes, but there's certainly still things to love about it. --- |

He gets pins over champions in multi-man tag matches but has thus far been presented as still being a clear level below them when he challenges for the actual belt. Or, at least, that's what happened with Goto and I'll be shocked if it's any different with Naito. And yeah, he's gotten to be solid enough in the ring and over enough with the crowd to justify being in a role like that. I'm not as high on him as some people I've seen, but he's certainly not out of place on the roster like he used to be. --- |
