Honestly, he lasted a LOT longer than I thought he would with that explosive style. Guys who ONLY do that typically have shorter careers due to knee and back injuries but he just kept at it in spite of such injuries (I'm sure the Max contract helped).

Yeah, it's a great song. It's surely somewhere in the top 10 of my favorite Cranberries songs. "Dreams" and "Linger" from their debut album were bigger hits in the US but I feel that "Zombie" is their so-called signature song and "probably" the first song that most people associate the band with. I just want to note that their final album (released the year after Dolores' death) was a fine finale, if sobering for the fact that it really was over after 25 years. It's definitely worth a listen.

Yes. A lot, back in the day, since I did orchestra (violin and viola) in grade school and high school. I also learned how to play guitar by reading sheet music but the cool stuff was in tab, so that's what I have used almost exclusively for the last 20+ years.
