The only services I have for entertainment are prime video and YouTube. Both are ad free. I would pay for ad free video game services if such tiers existed.

I got one of my own around 2002 for high school physics. I used it all through grad school, which ended in 2011.

It was some TI 8something. It was silver and partially transparent.

I was like 10 or so when it came out. I hated it. Like I played youth league basketball at the time, and it made me mad how silly the concept was. Like there is no way that dog was playing basketball in accordance to the rules of the sport.

Off the top of my head it was a place called 4 to 4. It was close to my fraternity house in college. It was open from 4pm to 4am. I remember walking there pretty intoxicated one night with one or two of my brothers. We wanted pizza and it was close and open. It was also dead of winter and like 25 degrees out. Inside it was just a counter with seats, so we had to huddle in and wait for for order.

The pizza from this place was so greasy it would make parchment paper transparent. We order some meat pizza with huge sliced sausage chunks and pepperoni. At least half had bannana peppers on it. We didn't leave to eat it. Just popped it open there and then. We wanted hot za and respite fron the cold.

Mayb it was the cheap natty or rolling, the company, the setting -- or the totality of circumstances -- but it was the best pizza I ever had.

I am firmly middle aged. I used to be a huge cod fan but I stopped playing after Ghosts. I bought one randomly like 5 years ago due to friend group pressure. It was my old cod gang. We all stopped around the same time. We are all around the same age

We all found the user experience like OP described a huge problem. Myself, barely understood what mode or how to get to just regular tdm. It ws sensory overload. It actively made me not want to play. It felt hostile.

I still play pubg with the same guys. We all complain about how extra the main menu is. Last week we got together to play and the game was just screaming weird k pop lyrics at us at the main menu. We could barely could hear one another talk and it took 20 minutes to figure out how to turn it off.

I mean I get aging out of things. Kids deserve their own things even if I don't understand it. I am not the market anymore. But this design seems objectively worse. Like it is trying to be confusing on purpose and overwhelming on purpose. I just think it seems hostile and I feel like it somehow must make soon much money else it wouldn't be done.

As a kid, cartoon network didn't exist and Nick was on like satellite Galaxy 5 or something. I cant remember where. We had one of those giant dishes on an actuators that moved around to point different directions.

Then we got direct tv. Cartoon Network was on 296. I think Nick was 300.

No i dont think the world will end. There will probably be worst case a long term reordering and some degree of societal collapse. I find the chance of humanity dying out being close to zero. How many and what does it look like is the real question to me not whether we are somehow going to go extinct from it.

I think Humans will survive even nuclear war in some capacity.

Max time was an adult in college

As a full time working adult is dramatically less than when I was a minor.

As a teenager I was a two to three sport athlete but had plenty of time to game in the summers and weekends. I didn't practice sports year round all serious because nobody was gonna go pro. It was just fun being on the school teams.

My summers were entirely unstructured. I spent pretty much all day outside but I could come home and vidya game any time. I would stay up late playing games too.

Much like mouse trap nobody actually played ghe game. They just liked to see the dad get up

I have gone to spas before and had massages done by men and women. It's just their job no different than like getting a hair cut or going to a Healthcare provider. It doesn't matter.

I've lost about half my head hair and my facial hair is half white. I just started getting white hair on my hair. I am in my forties.

I used to have such a wonderful head of hair. Strawberry blond and naturally curly. It started to fall out in college. I took medicine that basically stopped didn't regrow anything. I stopped caring by my late 20s. I wish I still had my hair but I have just accepted aging naturally. I dont color my hair or try to hide the white.

I start in a row and go about a third down the cob amd switch back to columns to get what I left behind. I repeat the cycle until the cob is denud of kernels.

I find this method extremely efficient.
