I bought the game a long time ago on steam, and bought lots of dlc, but I think I did it through cerberus network, which isn't up anymore.

jak, I don't want to do that, since there is always the possibility that some less popular games may be dropped from the store when it starts up on wii u. the publisher's contract may not include being in the store on a new console, so they may take the opportunity to just not renew their contract on unpopular games.
I'll probably hold off on nintendo published games for this reason. those will definitely stick around. pun, I just made a list, but it's incomplete because I haven't fully gone through the genesis and snes lists. aren't lots of these genesis games actually cheaper (with trophies!) on the psn? plus, I have sonic's genesis collection so that helps. -- mreow! spork for president - metroid composite |

now that it is confirmed vc games transfer, I was going to purchase all of the rest of the games I haven't bought yet that I had interest in.

whoa guys, upscaling isn't the same thing as running the game at a higher resolution.
the ps3 upscales ps1 games, and it isn't that great at all. I want them to be run natively at higher resolutions. also, given that the ambassador program was essentially $100 of free games (assuming $5 each), there is at least some small precedent for something similar happening if they ever decide to merge the 3ds and wii u services. possibly they could just refund you points for any vc games you bought on both systems. I mean, really, the only people who are going to double buy anyway are supernerds like me and shine. I can't see them losing much money at all on it. also, I hope they use the 3ds system with replayable save files, because I want to finally beat the ninja gaiden series! -- mreow! spork for president - metroid composite |
